The Comfort House

Beautiful home. Relaxing location. Hot tub is huge and the porches are built with leisure in mind. Outdoor sink, grill and three season porch were nice additions to outside experience. Plenty of parking. Clean and well maintained. Highly recommend.

The Comfort House was chosen from many as our base for "The Ryan Sisters' (5 of us!) Annual Reunion, and what a delightful choice this turned out to be! As a former B&B proprietor, my evaluation of the Comfort House is through these critical eyes. Sandra has created an exquisite dream vacation home, perfectly appointed with attention to absolutely every detail. Her 5-Star ratings are well-deserved. We would like to thank her personally for making our Sisters Reunion extraordinary via this lovely accommodation and wish her continued success as she renovates CH yet again for next year's rental season. We have stayed at the Custom House several times when visiting Galena. It is everything that you would want in a rental home. It is beautiful with everything you might need. We enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor fire pit, outdoor grill on the beautiful porch. The indoor fireplace and wonderful bedrooms, each with their own master bath make this house one you will enjoy. We will be back again!

This home was extremely comfortable, clean and in a beautiful setting. Linens and bedding wonderful. There were six adults and it certainly accommodated us easily. If we return to Galena, we would certainly stay there again. Marguerite Nangle
