Country Club of Birmingham (West course): Home to the highly-rated West course and supported by the East course, The Country Club of Birmingham is widely regarded as one of Alabama's finest golf facilities. The West course especially contains many wonderfully crafted, memorable and challenging holes. However, these excellent quality tree-lined parkland layouts are private, generally playable only by members and their guests.

Very lovely place! The members and staff are awesome. I've visited twice, and each time was very pleasant.

I just worked there as a contractor and it's a very nice place. It may not be St. Andrews, but the locals I worked for here are great. From what I've seen, it's a more challenging course than others I've seen.
