The visit to the Planetarium Dome was really a great experience. And is educational too in a really unique way.. You get the impression you are the one moving. It was not crowed at al. But the seating is spacious and you have room between you and the row in front of you. It has different shows and they change. So you can always keep going back to enjoy this great experience

Since my tween daughter is a big-time penguin nerd, we made the pilgrimage to the IMAX Theatre to view a sh during a recent trip to Milwaukee. Who among us can resist the lure of ginormous penguins projected onto a six-story, wraparound screen? ow I strongly recommend this IMAX dome for scenic documentaries as it offers patron a breathtaking experience. The theatre is clean and well maintained. It is a steep climb up the stairs to your seats, but precipitous incline means no staring at the back of the head of the person in front of you. The seats are spacious and there is legroom a plenty. There are a bunch of previews of upcoming documentaries before the main feature - thankfully these previews are far less obnoxious those that blast your senses at your suburban multiplex. Parking near the museum is always a challenge, so factor that in when planning your trip to this location. Pro-tip: Purchasing movie tickets at this IMAX scores you a discount on your admission to the adjoining Milwaukee Public Museum.
