The East River

One of my favorite places to exercise.Whether you want to go for a walk, run, bike or simply just relax, this is a great park to do so. It also offers beautiful views, especially in the warmer months.

Nice summer day for riding on the water to the Rockaways and back to the Bronx.I took the Sea Ferry for 4 bucks , good deal beautiful River ride .

Pretty to ride a bike along the East River below 14th street , across the FDR Drive , in the East River Park in nice weather . Winter is not really recommended though .

Beautiful views, especially for sunrises. A decent amount of river traffic, including tugs, cargo ships, pleasure boats, and a few ferries, traverse the river.

What can I say? The waterways around NYC are unique, splendid and historic. There are more than 2,000 bridges spanning all the waterways. The East River has 4 of the most iconic bridges including The Brooklyn Bridge. It also has the Roosevelt Island Tram which is also a one in a million sight to behold.
