The Edge Harlem is one of my favorite brunch spots. I rank it in my top 5 places to go for quality of food, portion size and service. Pancakes topped with fresh fruits & cream is a great brunch choice, with sides of bacon and eggs! It’s the perfect breakfast. If you’re ordering drinks I recommend the 580, served in large glasses and made strong! A few of these will have you feeling very nice. Be sure to get to the restaurant early because wait times can be up to an hour during brunch. It’s a tiny space that fills up quick but the staff does a great job managing table wait times. I can’t wait to go back for more delicious food.
Hands down awesome place for food and drink in the area. Excellent service, lively atmosphere, awesome food. I had the crab cakes with plantains, my date had shrimps with grits. Both great dishes, without fault. Would love to visit again.Food: 5/5
First time going. Ordered the jerk wings, crab cakes, fries & jerk shrimp Alfredo to go. The fries are delicious. Jerk wings were good. The sauce that came with it was 10/10! I would by a tub of it. Crab cakes were disappointing. They were pretty cold and just wasn’t what I was expecting. The pasta was good. Gave me 5 shrimps. The place is on the smaller end. Navigating btw tables can be a bit difficult because of the chairs. And people leaning back and what not.
A great reason to visit Harlem…if you haven’t! The food at the Edge is really good. I thoroughly enjoyed the plantain crusted crab cakes and the hibiscus sorrel which wasn’t too sweet. The Sautéed Kale was rich with flavors and complimented my meal really well as a side. The staff are also very professional and sweet. You should also try the codfish fritters with the jerk lime dip. Yummmm! The meals also came quickly which was nice.
Great food, I had The Edge burger which was cooked perfectly. Just be aware there is a 1 hour limbo between 3-5pm where they close their kitchen. The staff was friendly enough to still cook something for me during that time. Will definitely be back to try out more food. Aside from classic American, they also have cariñena food.
Visiting from Philly, I looked up this place as soon as I got there. Took the train there and had a really good experience. The staff was super helpful. I got the Coconut Fish Burger. The food came out quick and the fish was so fresh. I highly recommend this place.
One of my favorite Caribbean restaurants. It's a cozy spot with sizeable drinks and delicious comfort food. The codfish fritters are a must have.
Cozy spot. Delicious food. Friendly, attentive service. Codfish fritters are delicious!! Five fritters come per order and are filling!! I had the ackee and saltfish with grits and avocado and a warm sorrel. So delicious. My friend had the nutella stuffed french toast. Also delicious. Make reservations and try to get there early, as seats fill quickly. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options for brunch. Wheelchair accessibility: There are 2 steps to enter/exit the establishment. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available upon request.
It was the first time I went to this establishment. My party of 2 and myself did a walk in after finishing the Percy Sutton 5K walk/run in Harlem. We was at a table in a timely manner. The food is banging. I mean you can taste all the flavors. I know I will return however reserving first. The energy at the restaurant was great. This restaurant is a happy reminder of my Jamaican ancestors who have passed on. The everyday meals with plantains, salmon cakes and homemade gingerbeer made by my grandmother. GIS
I try to come here whether with a friend or by myself at least 1-2 times a month. I hope they never change the look and feel of their place and the food! If I could, I'd visit more often. I'm never disappointed!
