The Eisenhower Bagelhouse

Always hit or miss here.The breakfast sandwiches are really, really good. The coffee is also primo. That is all if you can handle the staff which is usually stand offish and have a too cool for school sort of attitude. Once you're done interacting with them, there's a decent amount of seating where you can sip your drink and watch the trains go by on Interstate.

The bagels are really fantastic- especially the Eisenhower, but you will DEFINITELY wait for them. Line on the weekends (which is my only experience) is usually to the door, but the wait after you order has been about 15 minutes both times I've gone. Granted, those 2 times could be anomalies and the line to order grows and shrinks in rushes, but 15 minutes to make a bagel?

If all you have is a memory of a northeast bagel is then you’ll like this place. Great options and some delicious sandwiches. Plenty of seating and it’s right off the train.

I love this place. The bagels are crunchy outside and soft inside, and they are just smothered in toppings. The biscuits are fluffy and crumbly. My only qualm is that when I buy a tub of cream cheese, it is amazingly inconsistent in the amount that I get. The only consistency is that is it never actually full. It’s rather annoying because sometimes it only serves 3 bagels, sometimes it serves 6, you really never know. I would gladly pay more and know that I would be getting a full tub of cream cheese each time. But regardless, I still give this place 5 stars because they have the absolute best bagels that I’ve ever had.
