The Empowerment Factory is a non-profit founded on the philosophy that eveyone deserves an equal opportunity to achieve their dreams of personal fulfillment and success regardless of their socio-economic background. Serving youths and famiilies to help build stronger communities, we focus on providing innovative programming that offers internal and external guidance on how to believe in yourself and maximize your potential.
The Empowerment Factory is a non-profit dedicated to giving children the skills they need to lead happier, healthier lives. Our project-based experiential learning approach focuses on three areas of development: creativity, self-esteem, and civic pride. At the heart of our work is the Creative Squad program, which encourages a balanced combination of individual thinking, peer interaction, and teamwork. Since 2014 The Empowerment Factory's blended learning model has positively impacted over 1300 urban youth with the creation of 18 after-school clubs and 7 summer programs.

organization that was founded in 2014 by Gail Ahlers, an award-winning designer, artist, and educator.
TEF is dedicated to giving children the skills they need to lead happier, healthier lives through project-based learning. Our educational approach focuses on three areas of development:
creativity, self-esteem, and civic pride.
Our vision is for every child to have the confidence to effectively express him or herself and be actively and positively engaged in the community.
Our programming blends Social Emotional Learning (SEL) with Creativity and Environmental Education.
