We had a DELICIOUS dinner here. I love the "old restored factory" look inside. Very uniquely decorated. The staff was all very polite and helpful. The restaurant was very clean. The food was just amazing. Coming back a few years later, I love the new outside patio. We've been here several times and have never had anything but delicious food. One of the best restaurants in Louisville.

Took my mother here for mother's day. She doesn't get out much so I thought I would take someplace nice that got good reviews. First we get a booth that sits too low. I felt like a munchkin sitting there. My mom laughed about it.
Time to order, I tell my mom to try something different. You know, live a little. Well she orders the "plain jane burger" yes that's what it's called. So I say, gee mom I could have taken you to White Castle, which she would've rather been. I order the voodoo pasta, which was very good. 40 minutes later we receive our food. It was Saturday by the way so they weren't really busy.
I'm eating my pasta when I notice my mom nibbling around her burger. So I ask, is there something wrong? She replies, I order this well done and it's raw. So when the waiter finally showed up, by the way 2 other people, I think one might have been a manager, helped us while our waiter was on hiatus somewhere, I told him my mom's burger was raw he said he would take off bill.
Thanks Exchange for making me look a fool for picking this place out.

Fabulous, flavorful food in an unique setting. Exposed brick walls blend past with present. Excellent, friendly service. If we lived here, this would certainly be a regular night out for us! The Steak Frites is so authentic that you could be fooled that you're dining near the Seine rather than the Ohio River! And the pork chop just fell off the bone into the delicious peach Bourbon sauce. A true delight!

This is a pretty decent place. My wife and I shared a few appetizers and the smoked Mac-n-cheese which is quite delicious. The frites and the pretzel bread with beer cheese was tasty as well. We did water because budgets ya know? We went before on a Friday/Saturday night and it was cramped! But this time we went on a Thursday night and had plenty of space and it was quiet enough that we were able to really enjoy the atmosphere.
The Exchange, like other eateries, are almost guaranteed to have decent food, but what sets these places apart are your ability to enjoy yourself and the company your with, and my wife and I were able to enjoy ourselves during this exchange!

The food is very good. Slightly unique menu, in a good way. Very cool atmosphere both inside or on the patio. Love that it’s local and still has a lot to offer.
