The Face New York

Well organized and well maintained skin care shop located in Manhattan’s Korea town. I was doing window shopping as I find their price is more expensive than in Canada.

The worst service I’ve received in years. Has NOTHING to do with traditional Korean politeness or hospitality. It is a shame that they sell BTS products, since the employees are rude and unprofessional. I wanted to buy a BTS apron that was hanging by itself. So I asked an enployee to show me where I could get one. She asked me if I wantes a NEW one. I mean, do people actuallt come to shop for “oldl ones for that kind of price? I said “Of course”. Then she just waved her hand in some vague direction and disappeared. When I failed to find what I was looking for, I said “Could you PLEASE take me where it is?” Walking me to where those aprons were stacked turned out to be a whole new level of “doing a favor” for that young lady… I do not really understand. Aren’t these employees looking to SELL their stuff? Why is this attitude? At the register I complained that the lady helping me was not really “helpful”, and in return I heard “Oh, but the CUSTOMERS have to show respect first”. But… how much more are you supposed to “show”? Regular phrases like “hello, excuse me, could you please show me, I would like to, etc.”, are they not working anymore? What does one have to do to be actually “served” in a store?

Cool store with knick nacks from Korea! It’s a small store but they have some cool plushies, face masks like the beauty face masks you apply, not medical masks lol, and other random things to look at. For some reason you are not supposed to take pics/vids of the plushies. Also they require face masks.

I regularly use their foaming face cleanser. It works really well. They have many types of skin care to choose from.

I really like the face shop products so I was ecstatic when I found an actual shop while at Korea town. I got to explore other products I had been curious about, and buy products I really wanted. The staff was friendly and not pushy, which made things very pleasant.

Great variety of beauty products, along with lots of BTS merchandise.

A nice shop with a variety of skin care and beauty products, as well as some gift items like plushies. Beauty products seemed reasonably priced to me, and I look forward to checking out further products in the future.

The staff who assisted me tonight was very nice. She gave me advice on skin care. She did not upsale the products but instead gave me free samples to try first because of my sensitive skin.

Loved this store!!! Full of cute animals and plushies, lots of wonderful items from this store I highly recommend it if you're looking for any kind of kakoe friends or BTS merch as they have it all!

I really enjoy this store! They had very good prices/ deals / sales on sheet masks. The staff was very kind and helpful. Please just keep in mind: this store is a STORE BRAND STORE. What that means is that they only have "The Face Shop" brand products there. If you are looking to buy a brand that is not that, you will not find it here. I totally recommend this store if you like: - small stores - one brand stores - korean beauty - organic products - sheet masks with great deals - cute stores I recommend!
