absolutely horrible management team. Rude and pompous at best. imagine only being given credit for half the income you've made by someone who likely makes less. they will not let you reach anyone who is decision maker and very careless with your information.
I have lived at Jackson Hill for almost two and a half years now. Jackson Hill is a Finger Companies property and I have enjoyed every minute of it!! I have never lived at a Finger Company property before, and I can tell you I will never not live at a Finger owned property as long as I’m apartment living. The costumer service by far surpasses any other apartment complex in the Houston area. The leasing office team is awesome and are super caring of all of the residents and don’t just ignore us and forget about you after you move in. Then the maintenance staff is so great, they are very quick on taking care of any of my work orders in my apartment. My apartment is awesome and you can tell The Finger Company took its time and built Jackson Hill right! I would highly recommend living at a Finger Company owned property!
I love this company and the management quality you receive when living at one of their communities. They really go over and beyond at trying to be human and kind with you in regards to understanding your true concerns or just making you feel like they really care about you by simply remember you and your family by name. I have lived at a few of the communities in the Houston area over the past 7 years and every experience has been a great one. I love how well they keep their properties clean and maintenance teams are always there for you even if help with something you personally need done like a new shower head. Their events are better than anywhere else i have lived thanks for caring to give us a since of community.
Beware before leasing at Susanne Apartments on Dunlavy st. Here are the following issues: The leasing agents tell you what you want to hear about reserved parking, valet trash etc. Then once you sign the contract it's a different story. They tell you they don't recall and it's not in the lease so you can't hold them to it. I have lived here for 9 months. In that time there has been a shooting at the pool. At least 3 apartments have been broken into. Computers have been stolen from the common area. There are cigarette butts and trash and dog poo all over the properties. The equipment in the gym is broken or out of order more than it's operational. So much for "luxury living". I have complained to corporate and gotten no where. I hope that my horrible experience here helps you make an informed decision.
I signed a lease for the Ventana apartments a Fingers Company property. The property is advertised as a luxury apartment and rent is $5,100 per month. Since moving in, I have had a massive ant infestation which had I known about prior to moving in would have changed that decision. Reaching out to property management has been frustrating and has yielded no results. The management team is extremely unhelpful, unsympathetic and unresponsive. This apartment experience has been the worst of my life. I highly recommend anyone looking into this apartment to reconsider.
This company is awful at what they do. I lived on their property on Edloe Street, Houston, for a year. The property is advertised as "luxury living" but don't be fooled; it is nothing of that sort! Firstly, the leasing office is like a revolving door and they are all rude, incompetent and careless. Second, there are so many break ins at the apartments that you start to think it is an inside job. Third, my new bike was stolen after they asked me to move it from the vicinity of my apartment and place it at their dusty bike area underneath the garage ramp. Several other bikes were stolen as well as it was evident from all the broken locks. Surely enough, as soon as I let the leasing office know they cleaned the area and HID the broken locks instead of sending out notifications to residents letting them know that their bikes had been stolen. Fourth, during my time there there were several break ins while they only notified the residents of one. Lastly, I sent a letter to the corporate office, after hours of research to find where to send a complaint to, to complain about the awful nature of their leasing office and asked for compensation for my bike. In response, instead of apologizing, they hired a law firm and tried to scare me off with one letter that was sent to me 6 times. In conclusion, this company has been around for a while but I would not chose one of their properties to lease.
The Bellfort apartments worst place to live!!! I paid $400.00 deposit, they kept $351.00 arguing that the carpet was dirty, and the bathroom was dirty when I called them to clean the carpet and to fix some issues in the bathroom, which never got fixed. The place is full of roaches and not a safe place to live. They broke into my apartment during the day and I lived not even 40 feet away from the office. My neighbors truck was left on bricks more than once. The door was full of mold and I reported to the office and they didn't do anything. In conclusion worst place to live and to top it off pricey. Roaches and rats every where!!!
I have been a property manager with The Finger Companies for 5 years. I enjoy working for an owner who pays such attention to detail and has high expectations. It makes us all better employees who truly care about our communities and the residents who live in them.
I've boycotted ever living at another Finger Company property. The reason being when I was asking initial questions before moving in one of them was about parking. I asked verbatim. "Can I park anywhere?" The property manager said yes, we do not have assigned parking and will not have assigned parking unless it becomes a problem. Ignore the signs that say you can't park here etc. Then she proceeded to continue telling me about their feral cat population that lived on the property. She had kittens in a box...She seemed very preoccupied with them. I'm assuming so because she failed to mention that there are two sides to the parking garage, one for condominiums that look EXACTLY like the apartments and one for apartments. Shortly after moving in I parked on the wrong side of the garage and was towed. The tow cost me $250. I talked to the area director Mr. Aiuppa because the property manager did not have the autonomy to help me. He did not offer to do anything for me. I would have NEVER parked there had I known I would be towed. I would have gladly walked a little further to my apartment. The negligence on the part of the employee directly affected my knowledge of the property resulting in me unknowingly parking where I wasn't supposed to. The company had an opportunity to gain a tenant for several years, but they did nothing to make reparations after their mistake. My complaint was defined as 'hearsay.' Basically I'm a liar and since he couldn't confirm my 'story' I'm out $250 + The money I would have made that day if I had a car to drive to work. Don't rent with these guys, they will continually let you down. There's loads of much better options. Luxury living, sure guys if you say so.
