This food was awful, I honestly don’t want to complain but I have to say this food was disgusting. I had the chicken penne pasta dish with some kind of vodka sauce. When the server brought it to the table she said be careful the dish was very hot. The food was actually barely warm. The chicken was old and had a bad taste. The pasta was stuck together with a paste sauce. Came with a very small piece of bread. I didn’t eat it, I didn’t complain about it. I paid and left. The server was awesome but the food was awful although she never ask why I didn’t eat it. Hope this saves the next person from wasting their money.
Had the pretzel and cheese. And the Ruben sandwich. Was Phenomenal! Loved the little bits of bacon and green onions in the cheese. Fries were perfectly crispy and soft in the middle. Ill be going back to try again, lots of good sounding menu items!
The Thanksgiving buffet was amazing. The pasta salad was creamy and delicious. The cooked carrots were so good. There was so much food and several desserts to choose from including baked apples and pumpkin pie. The food was home made, not premade foods.
Breakfast was a total disappointment. When we arrived we learned that it was buffet only and the full menu was not available. The buffet consisted of cold bacon, powdered eggs, country style potatoes, rock hard biscuits and gravy, pre-made waffles, boxes of cereal, a fruit bowl, and bottles of orange/apple juice. This restaurant at one point was a classy establishment with great food and now it is a continental breakfast for the hotel. There was one server working and he did a good job.
They have hosted our Family Christmas Breakfast for the last 2 yrs yes, thru all that covid stuff. The room is spacious and they make sure to have everything you could possibly need. The menu was a bit sparse, but I will blame Covid for that!
I'm having the new BBQ Waygu burger and this is one of the best burgers I've ever had! Everything is so fresh tasting, wow!
Like most hotel restaurants, they're a tad overpriced. But one of those huge prairie thunderstorms was moving in, and it was close to our motel. It turned out to be a good choice. The service was prompt & friendly, and the food was delicious. My hot turkey sandwich was fresh & tasty. BF's BLT had lots of bacon. We ended up quite pleased.
Food is not fresh, asked for a salad and the some of the lettuce leaves were going bad.. my turkey avocado looked like it came out of 100h Titanic loop, because, gawd, what a sad wrap.. said avocado ranch in the description, couldnt taste it.. decomposed the wrap to find the avocado also mentioned in the description, couldn't find them.. a boat load of lettuce, probably the same one I was served in my salad. Couldn't finish my wrap I was so appalled by it. My girlfriend asked for the buffalo chicken wrap with no buffalo with ranch instead; which granted I hate when customers do there own "pick and choose" but she just got chicken and ranch in a wrap... That wrap was even sadder than mine... Friendly staff tho That's why you get a 2 star and not one. If you wanna take your grandparents for a fancy dinner because their taste buds are all burnt off with the hot coffee they drink all day, this would be a good place; because it's EXPENSIVE too.
Breakfast buffet was Un impressive. Kid's are supposed to eat free if staying at the hotel menu says their drinks are included. Charged us 8$ for a kid's milk and kids juice. Plated are freezing so as soon as you put the room temp food on them it gets colder than it already was. Server took quite a while to grab our plates, then it took 10 min for her to figure out how to split a check...smh worst experience at a Holiday Inn restaurant EVER.
Very average food. The booths and tables that had dirty dishes when we arrived had still not been cleaned when we left ... and they weren’t even busy. Skip it...
