STAY AWAY. Super shady place to play. The dealers are not on the level and the regular and house players take advantage of anyone new. When cashing out they will tell you that they accidently counted wrong or gave you too much then they keep some of your money. Alex , the guy taking the entry fee and also dealing, thinks he is smooth but is obviously dealing from the bottom of the deck and stealing players chips. Giving lame excuses like" I miscounted ". This thief will get the club shut down and should be fired immediately. Unless the ownership is in on it. Not a place you feel safe playing. More than happy to take your $20 entry fee and set you up for failure. Inside information passed between the dealer and regular players leaves you confused and suspicious. Definitely not an honest poker establishment. You can't say you haven't been warned.
This room was very welcoming to my lady and I. She doesn't play live poker outside of home games, and the dealers and players here made her feel welcome and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the $20 daily membership fee is a nice change from the raked games I play in WA. Thank you all for being so welcoming! I will be back!
The owners of this place run the room very well. As well as any poker room I've been into anywhere in the country and I've been in a lot of them. The food is amazing cooked by a great chef. It's a very comfortable environment and welcoming to any new players.
Today was my first visit to this poker room. the staff was all very kind and helpful. I played 1-2NL with bomb pots. They play a form of dealer choice for the bomb pots. The dealers were very helpful in explaining a few of these games to me because I had never played them before. I love to Gamboooool though so you know I was in there! I will def be back to play!
One Word: Cozy 20$ at the door no rake rest of day. Staff volunteer so please tip nice. Owner can be found cooking in the back.
I haven't been back since the pandemic started, but will head in soon. Always enjoyable and a great staff. Close to home for me and a nice atmosphere with friendly dealers and for the most part friendly players. I will admit that my favorite poker room WAS Spirit Mountain, but since that no longer exists, I'll be hanging out at The Game.
Great place, $20 door fee, No take from dealer on the pots. Every time I’ve shown up with more than the minimum buy-in of $50, $75 or more, to be exact I’ve won substantially. Will be going one last time before leaving PDX tonight. -M
I learned recently that if you're one of the first five people in the door you don't pay a $20 door fee. Thought I'd share that information on here.
First I called a few weeks before going to get some info as I was new to the area and lived a bit far away. The person I spoke with on the phone was very friendly and informative. As I got there the staff was also very friendly as well. I played 1-2 nl. Took about 39mins to find the ATM’s at the table. Took another couple hours to double up through them. They moved to another table unfortunately. Every once in awhile they do an optional bomb pot that is usually a type of game you would see at a home game. The table etiquette is no very professional. Players folding out of turn, talking about their hands a little bit I did not think it was collusion just not professional. Missing a star due to uncomfortable chairs for a long session. I only stayed 3 hours. Pretty sure one of the atm’s that left the table complained about my mask not always covering my nose so after a couple of times of the floor man reminding me I just cashed out with my winnings.
Unbeatable $20 daily membership fee. No rake. Maximum buy-in for $1/2 No-Limit $500. Only con is that outside food and drink isn’t allowed
