People were very nice; well organized for visitors during COVID. However, the gardens were really not that attractive, probably because it's August and little rain. I just expected more interesting varieties and a bit more imagination, given this is the home of the Mass. Horticultural Society.
Went for the festival of trees and will be back to see the gardens in the spring!

Very Beautiful Place, however it's sad to see such a stately building in disrepair
We went to the Festival of Trees at Elm Bank. It was terrific. So many sponsors. The Christmas trees were beautiful. We also saw the terrific train display now a permanent exhibit. Un rivaled in its display! This is must for small kids and parents wishing to pass on the wonder of the sradon.
We arrived during their open hours only to find that the gardens were closed for an unspecified reason.
Nice, but some portions of the gardens were not particularly well maintained.
