The Goddard School

We are extremely pleased with the care and education our preschool children are receiving at Goddard. When we moved homes, we had to move our children from Bright Horizons to Goddard. They have blossomed academically, socially, and emotionally. We are especially thankful to the Director and Owner of Silver Spring Goddard, who have made our children's transition to this new school as smooth as possible. I would highly recommend this school.

The teachers and staff are beyond wonderful. We had an amazing experience at the Goddard School of Silver Spring! The curriculum has a lot of variety and the effort behind ensuring that the students are well rounded is clear. I cannot say enough good things about this location! We love everyone here!

The Goddard School in Silver Spring has been an amazing experience for our son. The level of kindness, patience, and knowledge from everyone can't be measured. The facility is very up-to-date and always kept clean. The curriculum is wonderful. It keeps the kids learning and busy. If you are looking to jump start your toddler before Kindergarten I highly recommend having them attend The Goddard School.

The Goddard Silver Spring School’s curriculum was the most impressive to me. It was very comprehensive, and surprisingly inclusive of true “specials” .They had actual special teachers ie a Spanish instructor, a Sign Language instructor, and a Yoga Instructor. I thought all the teachers were compassionate and nurturing, which little ones need as they explore and learn. I was especially grateful that the teachers paid attention to the individual students and made adjustments to address my child’s skill set. I felt like my child advanced greatly, although she was unable to participate in the outstanding STEM program for full time 5 day a week kiddos. This Goddard made special efforts to incorporate new technology with smart boards, along with using standard mediums for learning. Overall, I love the Goddard Model, but I was especially happy with the warm and friendly atmosphere of the the Goddard Silver Spring School. This school was able to uphold the global standards of their model, and extend beyond it, to help little ones advance as they transition to elementary school. I would highly recommend this program to my friends, colleagues, and family members.

My daughter is currently enrolled at Goddard and has been going there for over 2 years and we have been extremely happy with the school! The teachers do a good job of balancing play and learning, my daughter seems super happy. Administration has been great to communicate with and flexible for us for our part time needs. Having searched and toured many preschools in the area Goddard is one of the best in Silver Spring

My son started at The Goddard School 1.5 years ago and it has been just an incredible experience from the very beginning. This was my/his first experience with organized daycare/school, and I cannot imagine how my son's next school could ever live up to the high bar that Goddard has set. He loves his teachers and classmates, and I'm amazed every day at how much he has learned. From a parent's standpoint, I also love the security of the school and the Tadpoles app where they post daily reports and pictures. It's a wonderful place with people who truly care about my son and his development.

My daughters attended a pre-k program here and we were highly impressed. Everyone has been welcoming to us starting in a new school year and our kids really enjoyed their time at Goddard. The teachers are friendly but have control of the classroom. The kids get a great breadth of learning opportunities. The staff and school are super organized and professional. We have two working parents in our house so flexibility with later pick up has been great. There have been days where MOCO school system was cancelled for our older child and Goaddard is still open to teach our kids with their staff outside shoveling the sidewalk to open for the day. This has been a great place for our kids.

The Goddard School is wonderful - we had a very positive experience here! The facilities are beautiful and clean and the teachers and administration are very warm. All of them knew my daughter's name and greeted her in the hallways. She loved coming to school here every day. Highly recommend!

The Goddard School in Silver Spring has been a great learning environment for our daughter. Ashley and her teaching staff are very responsive and have taken an active interest in our child. We would enthusiastically recommend The Goddard School to any parents with small children in the Silver Spring area.

I highly recommend the Goddard School of Silver Spring! We sent our two-year-old daughter for the summer and she LOVED it. She would come home singing songs she learned and would delight at seeing photos of the day's activities that her teachers sent out. I also saw her grow socially, as she became more comfortable being with other children her age, and the skills required for it e.g., sharing!. In sum, I was very satisfied with the curriculum, the caring teachers, and my daughter's overall experience.
