The Goddard School

We love Goddard. It’s definitely worth the 30 minute drive every morning and afternoon. Trusting that my son is safe at school and around teachers who care for his well being; while I’m at work is a HUGE deal for us.

Our son loves coming to Goddard Lynnhaven! Every time he gets dropped off he lights up with excitement when he sees his teachers. The communication from the school is excellent, 10/10 recommend

My son moved to The Goddard School from another local daycare and I am so glad he did! He has excelled at Goddard! He has learned so much in a short amount of time and is ahead of friend's children who are older. It is most certainly more of a school environment rather than a daycare. He loves going to school everyday, he loves his teachers and his friends! The technology that Goddard has so that you can see what your child is doing and learning everyday is great to be able to discuss your child's day with them. I highly recommend The Goddard School.

From the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcomed and at ease. The staff are incredibly friendly and caring, and my child has fun and enjoy in here. The facility is modern, clean, and well-equipped with plenty of toys and activities to keep my child engaged and learning. I appreciate that they have both indoor and outdoor play areas, so the children can get fresh air and exercise throughout the day. Communication is also a strong point of this daycare. The staff keep me informed about my child's activities and progress each day, and are always available to answer any questions or concerns I may have. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this daycare and would recommend it to anyone in need of high-quality childcare. The staff are top-notch, the facility is excellent, and the educational focus is an added bonus. They are deserved to have high ratings.

The Goddard School was a perfect fit for my son! He attended all but one of the classrooms and just graduated and I am confident he is going to excel in the 1st grade! Knowing that he was in a safe, nurturing environment everyday, along with the activities and experiences he was exposed to are some of the reasons The Goddard School was his second home. The staff was amazingly supportive and kept us informed with his progress daily. We definitely felt that they genuinely cared about each individual child. My son never wanted to miss school and absolutely loved all of his teachers. I highly recommend The Goddard School!

My son loves this school. As a parent, We love the administration. The front desk associates are doing an excellent job in greeting the parents. There is always a prompt response for all the questions. The teachers CHANDRA & VALENTINA in Rockfish are caring, take efforts to fill the gap in kids and as a parents, We truly feel that we found a great place for my kid. The Goddard School Lynnhaven is very welcoming, the staff is polite and you can tell they love the children and love what they do. The school is very clean, and the communication is great.

Excellent experience for both my children. We have been in every classroom from 3 months old to post-kindergarten summer camp. The teachers are caring, the curriculum and structure are great, and we truly feel thankful that we found a place that our children feel safe and loved. I highly recommend Goddard to any parents looking for the BEST care and education for their children.

Our son was born just before the Covid pandemic started in 2020, this left us with a lack of options for childcare and also a big sense of unease about sending our baby to daycare/preschool. It took me almost a year to build up the courage to send him and in the summer of 2021 he started at Goddard. Now it's the summer of 2022 and both of our children attend Goddard. Our son is a little timid in large groups and likes to play independently, in each class his "style" has been respected. We get regular updates on his days and when a little extra attention is needed from us, his teachers have been gracious enough to help us reinforce positive behaviors at home. He loves his school and his teachers, every day he has a "great day" his words. Navigating school and childcare in the post-pandemic has not been easy but we are always thankful and appreciative of the communication and cautiousness that Goddard places on the safety of the students and teachers. I would encourage any family looking for daycare/preschool to explore Goddard!
