Best for vegetarians who want to try out east Asian food. The food is EXCELLENT!!!! Beware, the quantity is toooo much. I had their entree for the entire day. I forgot the name but it was some sort of a fried rice which was out of the world!!!! I had a great appetizers as well. It was like sushi but with lettuce on the outside instead of seaweed.
The Green Bar Restaurant is one of the few vegetarian places I will go to as a lifelong meat eater. It's a bit of a small location. It the food is great and service is quick. I usually get a salad and the fried tofu I'm not trying g to be THAT healthy. The Asian sesame salad is probably my favorite and they always give you the dressing on the side, which is a good thing because they give you a lot. The vegetarian versions of some Asian staples are a bit salty, so I tend to stick to the raw stuff. The portion sizes are also pretty big. Overall a good place to go to when you body forces you to eat vegetables for a meal. 4/5
The dishes here are great. They have the vegetarian version of some standard Thai, Chinese, and Asian fusion dishes. The place was packed during lunch time. Be there early, if you have a larger group.
Very friendly service with lots of smiles. Clean restaraunt. The food was flavorful and the perfect temperature. A lot of places turn eggplant into mush; Green Barn did a good job of cooking it right. I left full but not feeling bloated.
There was a time when we got here and decided to get grub elsewhere, since we didn't find this place appetizing. I can't think why! Anyway we came back here a few months later and all is well. Very cheerful place, in terms of service staff and ambience. The decor is carefully put together, with attention to detail. And when the food comes out, you want to chomp on it right away. We got the Kung Pao and the farm-fresh veggie sandwich with curly fries. The food looks incredibly fresh, wholesome, and appetizing. The usually questionable nature of vegetarian food in places that are not purely vegetarian, especially in Asian places, is not there. The curly fries were devoured in minutes. The sandwich went next, brimming with a bunch of fresh ingredients. The Kung Pao was interesting. It was good, but just a tad strange in its taste, perhaps because of the purely vegetarian nature of preparation? The price to pay for taking a dish completely out of its cultural and geographical context I suppose. The details include even the bill coming out on a wooden slab. A meal well-enjoyed. Wholesome and beautiful experience!
Asian fusion restaurant offering a large variety of vegan options. The service was great but the food was too sweet for our taste.
Really good vegetarian food. I love meat but this flavors and seasonings are outstanding. Happy to eat vegetarian food here.
Ordered the hue city noodle soup and the Kung Pao stir fry. Both were very good and decently spicy. The the noodle soup was delicious! Both items were big enough for at least 2 people.
Went there because of the reviews. I have to say this an excellent attempt on providing wholesome and delicious vegeterian food with high flavor. I ordered wonton soup. Loved it...had sweat all over my back by the time i finished it.
Great place. Tasty and fresh. I think carnivores would enjoy too if they order the soy protein
