Update: After my first review, you all responded: “We are so sorry to hear about your experience and we would like to do what we can to remedy things”. Then I contacted you in response with a more detailed email and you responded ”Thank you for the detailed explanation.  Give me a day or two to get the best solution from my leadership.” Now, moving forward two months- after me trying to reach out during that time for an update on a solution to my issues, I have not heard anything back. It is clear to me now you had no intentions of acting on your words and you are just hoping for me to go away. Your company was great at selling the Grout Doctor motto without actually standing by the company name and products. Companies like yours are why contractors Franchise or Independent get bad names and look like scam artists. If you don’t believe in a product and can’t stand by it, you should not be selling it. I hope at least one person learns from my mistake and goes with another company who actually stands by their word, products and workmanship so they do not have to go through the frustration and aggravation I have been dealing with you all. I was not expecting your work to last forever, but I was hoping for longer than a month or two and for you all to stand by the Grout Doctor name and motto. “ We will not be happy until you are happy.” What a huge disappointment Grout Doctor has been. ——————————————- First review- Buyer’s Beware Richard and Christine were great at selling their product and making it seems like it would last several years, but with in three months we started to experience issues and now five months out the grout has continued to chip and black marks have started to return, no matter how much I clean with the neutral base cleaners and the 3 month coverage mold and mildew spray they suggested. I originally spoke to Erik when I first started to see issues, 3 months ago, and he said this shouldn’t be happening and that he would schedule with me to return and fix the issues. When I did not hear from him after a couple of weeks, I tried reaching out to him again a couple of different times, but got no response. Then I tried to reach out to the main Grout Doctor line and the number I had for Christine and left messages on both machines in hopes I would get a call back from someone in the company and yet I still got no response. I wanted to wait on posting my review to give them the benefit of the doubt and see if someone from the Grout Doctor team would contact me to try and assist us with our situation and stand by their work, but no one called. After several attempts of reaching out and trying to get someone to call me back, I realized they were probably ignoring my calls and it was not worth my time anymore. Especially, since I would see their advertisement signs everywhere advertising for more work and the same number I had been calling was the number on their signs! Alan, Henry and Eric were really nice guys and respected my requests and house, but I am very disappointed with the actual company, The Grout Doctor, for not standing by their workmanship and products. I had a lot of faith, trust and excitement for this company and then I lost it when we started to see issues less than 3 months out and no one was home to respond. A frustrating and upsetting situation.
