The Growler Guys

Love this place! There are so many different styles of beer to choose from. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. I love that you can bring in food from next door or your own food, and just hang out!

This is a great place to get a beer, with so many varieties to choose from. They also have a few non-alcoholic choices like kombucha and soda. of course they will fill your growler but they can also create a can of your favorite beer to take home. The bartender was also super nice and friendly!

Really awesome beer spot. Great staff with an excellent knowledge about the beers they serve. They are supportive of community events we've gone there for several New Avenues for Youth related events and encourage groups to come and hang out. You can get a crowler of almost anything they have on draft if you want to take it with you

Fantastic tap selection and decent prices. The staff is quiet but knows their craft and can be trusted to make a good recommendation. Great place for a growler fill or a pint. They welcome food from the adjacent restaurants and are walking distance from tons of great bars which makes this a perfect place to meet up for a night out.

My wife and I go to growler guys because the beer selection is great and we can bring our puppy to socialize. Dog friendly atmosphere, the staff are great, and nearby food can be ordered and brought in to enjoy with their great beer. Definitely one of our go to spots being dog owners. I read another post indicating that this is not a good place for dogs, this couldn't be further from the truth. One of the best spots for beer loving dog owners in Portland.

Excellent selection of micros -- easily one of the best in the city. I have a few favs, but these guys always have 2 or more beers I'm excited to try. Most other places I'm lucky to find a single beer I'm into. The service is WAY above par for Portland #PortlandService is known to be lacking in many areas. I have had nothing but stellar service by all of the employees here. They are very accommodating and happy to let you taste beers to find the one that you like. They learned my tastes very quickly and started suggesting beers that I would be interested in. They have a great selection of growlers and now offer the 1/2 growler can that can last much longer & is a sweet take-along to an outdoor activity. The atmosphere is the only thing lacking at Growler Guys, IMO. It's a plain strip-mall-style interior with minimal decor & two intrusive sports screens unless you're into sports. Earlier in the day on non-sports days they have a good music selection. Other than an interior make-over & better seating, there's nothing I would change about this place.

This was a cool spot that we came to awaiting our Brewvana tour. They have tons of options for draft beers in all different sizes. They do tasting sizes all the way up to larger sizes for consumption. The prices were also really good, considering the quality of beer. This is also well located in downtown Portland.
