The Handover

The Handover has the friendliest staff, a great chef, and it’s very well maintained. Plate cleaned in 6 minutes flat! Sushi was excellent. We will be back very soon.

We ordered takeout for lunch. Service was quick, the food was tasty, and the portions were fair. We got the $25 bento box combo for two, including a beer. I don't know where else in Alexandria you can get lunch including a beer for that price, so I'm giving it 5 stars. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the experience here. Sat at the bar downstairs. The rolls were very good. Prices were on the high end but consistent with old town. I’d go back and recommend it as a good spot to try out, and it definitely is different from the other sushi spots in the area.

Amazing food, very creative dishes. The cocktails are INCREDIBLE. It's awesome to have a local place with creative drink options. Staff is super friendly and goes out of their way to make accommodations for anyone with food allergies or restrictions. Absolutely our new go-to spot...try it out, you won't regret it!

I ordered a three roll combo through UberEats. Sushi was fresh, delicious, and flavorful. Will have to visit the restaurant for more, plus cocktails.

Their poke bowls are stellar and their cocktails, which they change daily, are spectacular!

Stopped by yesterday to try out their unique slushies delicious and SO refreshing in this awful heat and the takoyaki. Good service and fast. Definitely eager to try more from their current menu
