Delicious food, the crepes are their main event but the quiches and even the gluten free lasagna are delicious. Their dark hot chocolate is amazing! We have ordered pies and cakes for special events and they have been delicious. The cake decorations were gorgeous. We have a special needs toddler we bring for brunch and they are always kind and sweet to him, even letting us use their little back room to sit and eat so he can be a little loud and we can still relax and eat.

Wow! This is one of the best breakfasts in the area! We love their (Calvados) turkey apple brie crepe and their dishes are so well balanced with a side salad and roasted potatoes. A breakfast you can feel good after. Good enough to get one of their many desserts! Usually I don’t get their bacon but when I have it’s been too crispy. So ask for it not crispy if you like it that way. Their crepes and desserts are their specialty.

Crepes were fantastic, fresh fruit was actually fresh! The hash browns were surprisingly flavorful.
Friendly/timely service, fairly priced, ample parking out front. The place was clean, well lit, and a pleasant view outside of you get a seat by one of the many windows.
And so many gotten free options!!!

The Happy Tart is one of the only reasons I agree to drive into Falls Church from Stafford, VA. Their selection of gluten free baked goods and general food options are some of the best in the D.C. area. Portions are sizable with most entrees coming with sides.
They also have a wonderful selection of local ciders: Blue Bee and Potters Cider cannot be missed!

I can't say enough good things about this place and I've only been once. We had brunch here a few Sunday's ago and the food was AMAZING! We ordered the biscuits and gravy, french toast, the quiche, an assortment of cupcakes and a pecan tart. Everything was awesome.
The fact that this food is Gluten Free is just...WOW. I don't have a gluten allergy but, I went gluten free because I contracted Lyme a few years back. Changing my diet has led to less flair ups. Most places have items on the menu that are gluten free but, there's no place I've ever been where you can sit down without thinking about restrictions and have an amazing meal.
I have NO idea how long it took to develop these recipes but, I would give the owner a kiss on the cheek and a hug for taking the time to come up with this menu. There's no gluten free bread/cake/pastry that has EVER lived up to the taste of the real thing, till now. We ended up ordering my youngest Son's birthday cake from here a week later and I plan on eating here a much as I can. Not just to have a great meal but, to also show my support.
Also, I think our server's name was Chuck/Charles...? The service was as good as the food.
