Pretty awesome haunted house for sure! Actors could be a little more creepy but great over all
I'm a tough critic of hosted houses. The music on the way in is all wrong, should be howling and screams, not hip-hop. They need fog machines in the line so the scary zombies crawling around can actually scare people. The inside could use a little fog too so it's more mysterious. It's most props and a few live actors, who mostly just lump out at you. A few startling moments but no scares here for me.
I don't much care for these sorts of haunted houses. They always revolve around jump scares, which generally have never been scary to me. This place, though, I can't give less than 5 stars because of the sheer theater of it, and the design of the place. The entire experience is so filled with props, actors, and visuals; it's like nothing I've experienced before. There's SO MUCH to see and hear, it's kind of overwhelming. The actors do a good enough job. They work well with what they have, and within the common sense limitations they're under. But really...the visuals are something else. It's worth the price of admission just to get smacked in the face by the props for the 25 or so minutes when you're wandering thru the maze. I also really appreciated the design/layout. It made it feel as if you had zero idea where you were going and where you would end up. We had no idea if we were 5 minutes from the exit, or 25 minutes from the exit. Everything is so well put together that you just kinda get lost in it. One thing to mention...if you get a chance to experience this place in a "black out" setting, like we did, go for it. It really does add to the fear aspect.
This place could be better I was very disappointed last night. I paid for fast pass tickets over 100 dollars which I thought was perfect. But I feel as we got rush inside with other people so nothing was scary at all. when you do these type of events you have to wait at least 5 or 10 or maybe even 15 min for the next group or people to come in and not send everyone in there at one time. I literally seen everything happening in front of me the employee monsters couldn’t even scare me or people because everybody is walking together it’s no space or patience to even jump scare people.
Love love love! The crew was very nice and welcoming. Lots of great scares, specifically: the surgeon, the rabbit mask, and the nun with the exorcist girl on the bed. Y’all stood out! Will be returning!
A must-have experience! The staff are all great at their job! They're worried about your safety and excited to give you a good show. This is a long haunted tour with something for everyone's fears around every corner.
Was there last night October 23rd 2022 this is my second visit to the mortuary first visit was back in 2013 I think was the year of bloodlust if I'm not mistaken and the building was in much better shape externally and internally before you can kind of see where you was going and what you were doing last night it was pretty much walking through almost a complete blackout tunnel almost for 75% of the night if I was given a review for the first time I was there I would have gave them a five star this time literally two two and a half three star the outside of the building has a lot of rotted wood around the roofline right up front the porch has a bunch of vinyl side and it has fell down and is now missing and shown a lot of the old wood them people are making plenty of money to do some upkeep to their building as a very old beautiful building and to let it sit there and waste away like that is sad I'm speaking from experience I run a haunted house of my own in Florida and most of my money every year goes back into the haunt to make it bigger and better
Very entertaining!!! Absolutely wonderfully put together!! On a scale of 1 to 10 for scaryness I'd have to give it a solid 4. We did enjoy it though!
This is a very well done haunted house, the actors were very believable had me jumping and hiding behind my husband the whole way. The staff was extremely nice and made the time fly by while we waited, did the Express tickets and wait was about 30 mins well worth it on Halloween eve! Will be back to do an escape room at a later date!
Me and my girl friends took a night to complete the Serial killer escape room! And... it was SO MUCH FUN! Super difficult and we didn’t finish in time lol but it was a great experience. Johnny was so friendly and funny and personable. If you are looking for something fun but different to do in the city this is definitely it. It takes about an hour. During Halloween they also have one of the best haunted houses!
