It’s a wonderful museum with great exhibits of beautiful cars, aircraft , locomotives and other inventions. We spent a whole day at the museum and the village but we were unable to cover everything there, it’s huge , interesting and a beautiful place. Kids enjoyed the village with a ride in the steam locomotive and the T model. The carousel is very nice and kids love it. Food is good. The glass making workshop was excellent, it was very interesting to watch the beautiful glass vases take shape . The glass exhibit from the 1700 to the most recent ones were exquisite. Staff were very helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit.

What a cool place. I only had a couple of hours to explore, and man was it not enough time. It's a little on the pricey end, but really quite worth it. I'd recommend planning an entire day here if you can. I visited the indoor museum and the village. I was SHOCKED at how big the village was. If I'd known, I probably would have spent the whole 3 hours there. As it was, I visited as much as I could. My favorite part was seeing the Model-ts driving around and watching the glass blowers work their magic. In the museum, I was in awe of the massive train snow plow. I was also very struck by seeing the chair Lincoln was sitting in when he was assassinated. I can't wait to go back and explore all that I missed. Next time I'd like to go do the factory tour as well.

My family visits the museum often. We are all members and love supporting the Henry Ford. I’m a little biased as I do work for Ford Motor Co. but I would still be a fan of this museum regardless. Our 18 month old daughter loves running around the different exhibits. I like the historical cars and pieces throughout presidential history. My wife actually went to high school inside the museum so she is well versed in the layout. Attached to the museum is a movie theatre and Greenfield Village. You cannot go wrong here. Also has great food inside.

We actually visited Greenfield Village which is just adjacent to the museum. Our sons love to ride the authentic steam locomotive around the village, walking around the gorgeous grounds, the Model T car rides and the really nice toddler playground. In between we try to show/ introduce them to all the history the place has to offer. It's a fun way for them to learn. Forgot to mention they have a farming area with live animals. Good family outdoors place.

Made an impromptu stop here on the way out of Michigan. We only had two hours before closing time to tour the museum and it was a perfect amount of time. So many incredible things here to see. More history than you can imagine. We brought our six kids here and they all loved it!
