We hadn't been here since this was a truckstop cafe, so finding it a Scottish Highland Pub was quite a shock! We entered through the bar and were pleased by the authentic feel - close and friendly.
After a look at the menu... a pleasant mix of Scottish and American, my spouse chose award winning Fish and Chips and a hard cider and I took our waitress's recommendation of "bangers and mash" and a pint of bitters. Both were excellent as well as modestly priced.
I cannot recall the last time I was so pleasantly surprised by such a small and simple pub. We are already looking for an opportunity to return.

One of my favorite bars and restaurants for non conventional business meetings.
Particularly excellent place to take developers in my experience.
The food, drink, and staff have always been excellent over the years. And when you can, using their outdoor seating is gorgeous.

A solid 4.7 but they won't let me do that on this app. Good food. Great atmosphere. The service is a little slow, but the kitchen calls for that, so don't complain. Take a look at the large whiskey menu, but they are known to be out of things at times. On the other hand, while looking at that menu, ask for a recommendation, or a review from the bartender, they will find you a perfect match. Beware of football (soccer) games, unless you're a fan and looking for the perfect place to make friends and feel at home. The patio is beyond great, especially in the summer and fall. You gotta go here, I will take your spot if you don't.

I've been meaning to check this place out for a while now. The inside is a little maze like, but it's cozy and interesting. The bartender was incredibly knowledgeable about scotch. I tried some new things and learned some new things, which doesn't happen much these days. We had pasties for dinner, and they were very good. I'll definitely be back.

We ended up here after a family function and it was just perfect for our group. They had plenty of seating available for us (we had twelve people in our party) and we had to wait for maybe 5 minutes to get a big table for us. Comparatively we had to wait half an hour or more at other places. Next time we end up in Oregon City we will make a point to be back.
