The Home Depot

Our dryer broke down so we were forced to buy a new set. I don't expect much out of big box hardware stores, but Helen was damned amazing! She was the only person working in the appliances department, but she was patient and courteous to everyone without taking attention from my wife and I. Very responsive and informative and didn't try to sell us something we didn't want. We ended up deciding to get a fridge, too and looked at some that were over $1,300 and ended up with a better option at $999 after she directed us to it. Lowe's on Reserve can suck it with their bad attitudes and impatience. The only thing that makes me give them four stars and not five is that they do not carry Roxul in store. I'm not really looking forward to having two pallets in my postage-stamp yard.

Service is good as far as sales people. But your stocking people need to be a little faster. We were looking for a special wood and the computer said you had it, but it was never on the floor. Third time there i had to have one of your guys go look for it. It was up high and still wraped. He then had them take it down, finally got my wood.

Helen, in Appliances was great to work with. She worked with a difficult internet connection and showed me everything I asked. Well worth asking for her, if your there for appliances.

Home Depot Missoula is an excellent store because the staff is very knowledgeable in their respective departments. Many team members have been working there 10+ years, some more than 20. Their nuts/bolts aisle has items I've lost over the years, but are needed to complete a kit of some sort, or replace an oddly-shaped bolt, ring, fastener, attachment, or spring.

I find myself gravitating more to Home Depot than the other big box hardware store. It is a bit more industrial, but often have a better selection and more knowledgeable than others. Their biggest attribute is their website which nearly has too many options and you can often get free ship to store.
