The Houston Event Venue

Very limited parking. Have to park across the street. It's a little worrisome crossing over Navigation St since it sits in a curve. The grass in the median is overgrown so it leaves you to stand in the intersection to wait to cross the other side. The restrooms were clean.

I had my wedding here in December 2017. The venue is awesome and the staff was very helpful. A lot of space! Couldn't have asked for anything better.

We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at The Houston Event Venue. This place is amazing! If you haven’t checked them out, you MUST! We fell in love with the venue right away. We had another venue picked out, until at the last minute I found this venue. Once we took our first tour, we were hooked. The venue is massive, built in 1911 so it has all the original exposed brick, with a complete industrial feel. They have made several upgrades including all new electrical hardwiring to accommodate such larger events, LED lighting throughout the entire building with phone activated controls, copper wrapped doors, projectors, flat screen TVs, beautiful chandeliers including four new Edison chandeliers that we absolutely loved! Plus, they are always enhancing with more upgrades. Not only was the building amazing, the owner and staff were a complete pleasure to work with. Jason, Jared and Pam... kudos to you and thanks for being so awesome to work/plan with. More than anything, we want to give a shout out to Rheanna Whitman and her fiancé, Joseph. These two were PHENOMENAL! They helped facilitate our rehearsal and wedding, and made everything simple for us. They were on point, attentive, and thought out-of-the-box... which is what we liked! Rheanna has years of experience event coordinating and was one of my right hand “gals”, and Joseph helped my husband with all the technical issues, lighting, app coordination and much more. We would not have had such an excellent wedding without these two. Not to mention, they are just plain cool to chat with. We can’t tell you enough how much we feel so certain we chose the right place for our wedding. Thanks to all at The Houston Event Venue! We hope to see you guys soon!

This was my first time in this space and my senior client loved it. We did so many looks and the light by the windows was so nice. The extra space was great for distancing COVID, for future reference and I'll definitely return for future clients.

Nice spot was there for a Wino event. Very nice limited parking at venue but more parking across the street.

It's an excellent venue. Very well appointed. Good staff. Highly recommended.

Awesome venue. I like the rustic and old world feel. It's in EaDo and it's being developed by that adds to the charm. The exposed brick, the use of metals and the elegant lighting really creates a beautiful contrast. There is a shower in each bathroom so that was perfect for setting up and then getting ready. Parking was adequate and the management was nice.

Went for a wine tasting and had a great time. The atmosphere was laid back the one man band had some impressive covers and the vendors were welcoming.

I recently planned and coordinated a wedding at The Houston Event Venue and I am excited to say I can't wait to do it all over again! I love the historic feel and texture this space has and that it is very different from your typical wedding venue space. Most importantly I LOVE that the owner is in the wedding industry and is very aware of how to take care of a Bride and Groom on their wedding day. The whole team here is very accommodating and were always there when I needed them through the whole day. Can't wait to come back!!
