A classic ice cream parlor with a huge selection of options. Start with ice cream, frozen yogurt or sherbet then choose from baked goods, or toppings. There are also food options but??? Why would you???
I am so glad that I found this place today. The weather was 70 plus degrees this 1st week of November. And the evening was beautiful. The neighborhood was busy with all of the restaurants full. This shop had a full selection of hard and soft ice creams. Lots of sunday toppings and they also sold hard packed Brigham's ice cream. Delicious! As a wonderful addition, they sell some unique candies and cookies from around the world! They are adhering to the State's mandate to social distance and where masks at all times. I will go there again, soon!
At this point everyone wishes friendly's was still opened. Idk if it's the owner that was working there or just an employee, etc. Attitude was poor, customer service was a 2/5, price of ice cream was over rated. Rather had stopped at J.P Licks for the price we paid for, for two soft serve ice cream. We were in the area and figured supporting local businesses. Will not stop by again!
Don't waste your money! They area RIP-off! Less than 2 scoops of ice cream on a Waffle cone for $6.99. It was less ice cream than the small cup my mom ordered. Definitely not worth the money. Next time I'll stick with Wollaston Beach! At least they give you a hefty waffle cone dripping with ice cream!
A nice place to get a sweet treat. Atmosphere is friendly, the owner is very welcoming, and the ice cream is delicious. If you're in Quincy, this is the place to get a good ol' bowl of ice cream
Well let's start off by saying this is theeeeeee best ice cream I've ever had in my life. I love visiting my best friend, just so I can come here as well. A must try for sure. This is coming from someone who can/does eat ice cream every day all year round
Best ice cream I had ever had. I went to this place yesterday with my husband and my 8month old. I had brownie with ice cream with hot fudge sauce drizzled on top.. yummmm yummm !! The ice cream's texture was perfect. My husband choose to have a coffee ice cream soda drink. That was again a big hit with us. It was sooo soooo gooodd. Highly recommend this place. Service was also very good. Will definitely visit again.
WARNING: In what is becoming an extremely rare instance, this place only accepts cash. Bummer, but, not the worst thing ever. The owner would do very well to consider expanding though, what with the overwhelming expansion of cashless transactions and methods accompanying It's a situation found less and less, and so I didn't get to try anything, but the attendant was welcoming and friendly enough, and the overall layout of the place was homely. Added a few clearer pictures to give an idea of the pricing and menu as there's typically only substandard shots.
The ice cream is good, the toppings are great, but what sets the Ice Cream Parlour apart is the nostalgic feel and friendly service. It is a throwback, and a necessary one to stand alone among the white noise of chains.
I only got food for the kids here. The hot dogs were really great with a buttery grilled bun. Brighams ice cream, as always, perfect. I was thankful for the patient kind man waiting on us ;
