Mira did an excellent job of hosting my family of 25 to celebrate my parents 51st wedding anniversary. We had an entire dining room and she had the table set and 2 servers Sarah & Trevi assigned to our family. We had 3 appetizers calamari, sesame pancakes and dumplings. For our main entrees we had fried flounder, ribs, seafood bowl, and duck. The food was brought out perfectly and there was so much food that everyone was able to take some home. I would highly recommend The Imperial Palace for the best Chinese food and atmosphere. Mira takes pride in her restaurant and the happiness of her customers.
1/2 Peking duck, sweet and sour chicken, chicken Lo mein, fried rice, sweet and sour soup and 5 shrimp rolls. $87 dollars. Aweful, overcooked, greasy and unimpressive. Could have ordered the same from yummy wok in Ghent and had a better experience for $40 bucks less the duck of course which was salty rubber. I am a big sweet and sour soup fan and threw the whole container away after the first bite. Granted this was take out and folks tend to give shining reviews for eat in cuisine. Tonight was a huge miss. Aweful. Everything was the same color over cooked and terrible.
Absolutely The Best Chinese Restaurant ever!! Nice, comfortable dining area, personable staff and the owner even checked on each table. The food was delicious and well presented! Thanks for a delightful dinning experience, when I'm in the area again this this is definitely my go to restaurant!!! Vegetarian options: Plenty of options Kid-friendliness: High chairs Parking: It's in a strip mall, big parking lot
We stopped in for lunch. The szechuan tofu was okay I thought it was way too sweet and could use more vegetables. The lettuce wraps were okay too I found it too salty. Staff was friendly. The booth where we were seated had a massive, unrepaired rip in it. Given the choices available in town, we likely won't return.
Love this place! They make many of their dishes GLUTEN FREE and have an entire VEGAN menu! The server was very helpful and kind. Vegetarian options: An entire VEGAN menu! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options for many dishes
Had not been here in several years. Activities changed so not as convenient. Food was even better than we remembered. This is high end cuisine. A little pricey but worth every penny. Interior is lovely and restful. Staff and owner are the best I have seen. Vegetarian options: They did have several vegetarian dishes Parking: More than ample parking
We made reservations for New Years Eve dinner. It was a little chaotic at the door trying to get it. Some people had reservations, and some were just walk-ins. We could tell the restaurant was understaffed from the frustrated hostess. We didn't wait as long as we anticipated, maybe about 15 minutes. Our server was Sue. A sweet older woman who was able to get out orders in quickly. Our food and drinks were delicious like they always are. So the wait was nothing for us
Truly the best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. It’s a nice restaurant that is hidden in a strip shopping center. We brought our family of six and every one loved their meal. The service was on point and the food was delicious.
Upscale atmosphere with great food. Ms. Sue always provides the best service. ~BKL
