The Knock Back

We had been wanting to try this spot out for quite some time. Not only did it look like a great place to chill for drinks out by the patio with the firepit but also for their grill Cheeses that they are most known for. Not sure if it is the norm all of the time but they don't have table service. We ordered at the bar and picked up our food when it was ready. We were able to take advantage of the nice weather and eat outside on the patio. We tried the French Onion and the Veggie Sandwich with a burger patty on them. The grill they are able to get on the bread is awesome. Great crunch which added to the whole experience. They were flavorful and kept us craving the next bite. They were all decked out for Halloween with fun decorations. Looking forward to visiting again.

Check the vibe. Drove out for the opening night and was not disappointed. The laid back vibe and bright and lively decor are the perfect ambiance for this area. Great cocktails, mocktails and beers and spirits. Plus the grilled cheese grill has great food at reasonable prices. Be sure to try the patty melt, cuban-ish, and all the others. I'm coming back for the French onion. Outdoor seating and indoor air conditioned. Great job!

Wow! What a great find. Visiting from out of town and this place was recommended to us for a nice drink and a quick bite. Definitely would recommend it. Great bartenders very cool atmosphere and I understand that the owner is a great guy.

Under new ownership and now partnering with the formerly-on-hiatus Grilled Cheese Grill, the Knock Back is back with a vengeance! Cocktails are tasty, as usual, and the food is everything you’ve missed about GCG during the pandemic. Can’t wait to come back for more!

Great service, decent prices on drinks, and awesome grilled cheese! Super nice patio, and very dog friendly, which is always a plus.

I was very skeptical about overpriced grilled cheese sandwiches… but WOW! I ordered the Cuban sandwich and it was the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time. I will definitely be coming back for another one or 2. Plus the alcohol slushies were delicious! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

If you thought the resurrection of Jesus was wild, let me tell ya.. Who would've thunk that post-pandemic Knock back would come in guns a blazing with Grilled Cheese Grill. Its rebirth from its taxidermy past life, now provides a fresh yet familiar space to simply get away. Maybe its the nostalgia from grabbing a pint after my pizza shift of days gone, but I think this place has still got it. Its changed with the times that the US government should take note of. Big shout out to the bartenders and BOH.

Good beer list, a lot of bourbon and a nice selection of house cocktails. Food looks good but haven't tried it. Large outside setting area with fire pits to keep warm. Nice crowd, easy going with good music.

Happy to see this neighborhood favorite is back in business! Nicely remodeled by new owner, Ben Artaiz, who also owns Donnie Vegas. Great location, dog-friendly, covered patio and tasty drinks. Loved my grilled goat cheese sammich!

In the area and went on a whim for something small to eat, we found TKB and saw the sliders on the menu and we had to try them. We ordered 3 different sliders and none really jumped out to us as excellent. Pulled pork needed some BBQ sauce and the regular chicken one could have used more of the cheese to make it stand out. My favorite of all was the spicy chicken slider but I think it needed more heat. Staff is very nice and fast and the place looks great and well maintained.
