The Salvation Army Kroc Center of Hampton Roads transforms lives through fitness, education, recreation, creative arts, and spiritual activities.
The Kroc Center strives to bring the highest quality programs, activities and service to every member of the community. Whether residents are interested in the arts, or the many areas of sports and fitness, there will be a seemingly unlimited list of opportunities within the walls of this unique center.
Joan Kroc’s request was that The Salvation Army create comprehensive community centers, supported in part by the community, where children and families would be exposed to different people, activities and arts that would otherwise be beyond their reach.
