The Learning Experience

Our 4 yr old son has attended TLE Battery Park since he was 3 1/2 months old and we could not be happier with our experience there. The administrators, Jessica and Jenna, do an amazing job and are ALWAYS accessible to answer questions and concerns. When our son was having difficulty transitioning to a new classroom, Jessica purchased a set of balls for his class because he mentioned they were his favorite toys - a small gesture with a profound effect. You'll find the teaching staff is top notch as well. They know all the children so well and are real educators, genuinely concerned with their students' academic progress. Our son has grown so fond of them that he considers them family and hugs or "high-fives" his teachers at the end of the day. TLE also holds great holiday and family events so you get to know the other parents in the community. Bravo TLE Battery Park! You guys are the BEST!!

We love tle! My son has been enrolled here since he was three months old and we credit the caregivers and administrators for helping him blossom into a curious, thoughtful and fun-loving toddler. The staff has been especially supportive of our son's dietary restrictions due to allergies and kept him safe and comforted in the front office whenever he's been sick. We joke that we wish he could stay at tle forever as we feel it is a wonderful environment in which he is provided the tools he needs to grow.

This is a great school in the area. My child was there from 2.5 until 4. We left TLE as we opted for her to go to the UPK program in the school she was zoned to go to for kindergarten. Now that she is in a different UPK program, I can really see how much she learned in the 2's and 3's program at TLE. She came out knowing all her letters (lower and upper case) including writing them and their sounds. She also learned numbers 1-30. The admin is great and just like any other institution, we loved some teachers more than others. We noticed the teacher turnover is low mostly in comparison to stories we hear about other schools in the area.

Our child started at TLE when he was only a few months old, and it has been the best decision we have made. The teachers are kind, supportive and collaborative, and everyone has been involved in ensuring our child has the support and education he needs with personal attention and they're strong experience. Highly reccomend!!!

My review is based on my son attending TLE for pre-K and after school program. The teachers are excellent and very professional. My son has great relationship with each one of them especially Ms. Lana, Ms. Brooke, Ms. Miriam as they are his favorite. The staffs are superb and very friendly. The program is excellent as it’s better than the NYC standards. In addition, there are a lot of activities and party throughout the year. Eventhough my son is in K, we live by and always come back for community events and visit the teachers and staffs. TLE is a gem in Battery Park City.
