My 08/28 experience here was terrible. After two weeks of respiratory sickness, I was prescribed over the counter cough drops and told by the PA that my insurance covered it it did not. I was also instructed that I had only become sick because I wore a mask for two years and didn’t travel to the contrary, I traveled around the country consistently, but oddly, the PA refused to take this into account when I told her and insisted her position was correct. After yet another week of unimproved illness, I visited a different clinic where the physician prescribed a steroid pack and cough syrup that restored my health in four days. To date, I’ve tried contacting this Clinic about my copay—which was not charged in person because the receptionist falsely represented my insurance covered the visit—and no one answers the phone. To add insult to injury, the Clinic overcharged my insurance carrier as well. I will not be back.
All of the reviews mentioning the rude receptionist are spot on. Showed up a few mins late to my flu test appt due to getting sick as I was about to walk to the car. When I showed up and told her who I was, she said she was canceling my appointment due to being late. She then told me that they were running behind and were still with the person who had the appointment before mine and got an attitude when I asked why it made a difference if I was late since they weren't ready for me yet anyways. The previous person finished up and instead of calling me back, she called the person who showed up after me. I am in horrible pain from what is probably the flu and there is no other clinic in the city that can see me by this point in the day, so I get to spend another 24 hours in misery thanks to their rude receptionist. Her only advice was to go to the ER
ABSOLUTELY terrible. You go in sick and they are rude and mean, just make you feel worse. Healthcare workers are suppose to be caring a compassionate…these people are NOT. Not only that but I arrived before another couple got there but the medical assistant took that couple back first then said she didn’t have time to see me and to come back tomorrow.
Please run fast from this place! I walked up at 1p front desk lady kept her head down texting, never acknowledged me! So I said how hey are you she ignored it. Then I finally asked how can I get an appointment she still never acknowledged me being there, some lady came from the back and started talking to me saying they were going to lunch and etc. I was literally the only person standing there. The customers service there is awful especially the young lady who sits at the front! Run!!!!
I went to the little clinic January 20,2023 the doctor told me I had the flu but she didn't prescribed me any prescription for my flu she only told me to take some over counter medication and am still not feeling good took a lot of over the counter medicine it's not working for me I ask her was she going to write me out a prescription.
Never had a bad experience until now. Went the other day and first they got my blood pressure wrong, then apparently misdiagnosed me as I am not feeling better. Told me to come back in 3-4 days if I'm not feeling better. Came back and they just turned me away because they're "too booked". Never coming back Edit Februrary 2023: They're still awful. I had no choice but to go here again. I went to a different location because I cannot stand Plaza. They misdiagnosed me, again. When I called to ask about my testing and say I wasn't feeling better, I could not get an answer. So I called Plaza. They said they'd tell the NP call me back. She never did. So either the receptionist lied to me and didn't take my information, or the nurse practitioner just decided not to call a patient back who had concerns and questions. Either is completely unacceptable. The one on Farmington is FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR better. They actually call you back and diagnose you properly. This is truly the worst little clinic in the city and I am filing a formal complaint. Never in my entire life have I done that, but congrats Plaza Little Clinic, you have brought out my inner Karen. I hope they light a fire under y'alls expletive. Work somewhere else if you hate your job so much that you make other people physically suffer.
The little clinic at poplar plaza is awful! The bad attitude from front desk assistant is not the one you would expect from a healthcare provider. They denied a covid test due to there “policy” I had to show Nikki my results from a different provider for her to accept to give me a test, my health is my privacy but needed another test so I felt I had no other choice They would not take my insurance card due to it having my husbands name but I am under his insurance! My insurance offered to give the needed information over the phone to Nikki Meacham who said they could not take over the phone due to “policy” if this is true the policy is wrong new insurance cards haven’t even been sent out this year! The little clinic on Farmington is a module clinic they are knowledgeable kind and helpful it is a little way out for me but would rather drive a little extra to receive good service
I just good back from the little clinic. Had a great experience! I think more people should come prepared to wait rather than complain about the time it takes. Use it for what it is: a walk in clinic. There is no way to honor appointments if the whole clinic is based on walk ins. I brought my laptop to pass the time, but I barely even needed it because of the low patient volume, which made for a quick wait. The NP gave me a shot that made me feel better within 30 minutes and I was out! Some woman still found a way to complain about her 5 minute wait tho. Patience, patients.
Had a great experience, I was seen quickly and Eddie and Phyllis were very nice and professional. It took a bit longer because I was a new client and they needed all my info, but overall I was in and out in 30-45 min with a prescription. A week later I am doing much better, would definitely go back! *** Update: Went down from 5 to 4 stars because I was told that they took my insurance but I was still charge by blue cross blue shield for out-of-network... :- Don't listen to what the Little Clinic has on their website or what they say on the phone, call your insurance provider--yes I probably should have done this at the time, but I was sick and not thinking clearly--Don't make the same mistake I did. Also the person I talked to on the phone at the little clinic did not instruct me to call my own health insurance he just said come on in...this would have been nice.****
Today, Sunday January 14, 2018 the receptionist would not honor the hold your spot I made online. She stated this is a walk-in clinic and I would be seen according to when I arrived because most people do not show up when they sign up. I advise why have that feature when you aren't going to honor it. However, Ms. Lester was great! I believe Kroger should make it a walk in clinic or honor the hold your spot. When you can't honor it they should take the web down
