The Loc Shop

This is my third time visiting this OASIS of a salon and I’m in love! The Loc Shop is gorgeous, smells like heaven, and sets the tone for professionalism! Raye is bubbly, energetic, and wonderfully talented! Nicole is EXTREMELY attentive, personable, and talented! She was able to successfully style my locs without extreme tension and achieved the exact style I desired. On a separate note - Freda, the shop owner, is a delightful burst of genuine and divine energy! You WONT REGRET your visit here!

Amazing! I began coming to this shop when they were a smaller staff of two in a salon suite. So happy to see that they have expanded! I usually go to Nicole who is awesome and I saw Raye for the first time today and loved her attention to detail. There is a definite vibe of professionalism, customer service and community. I loved the atmosphere and the decor . Very informative I paid for a consultation for starter locs.My only critique that I have is .i thought the consultation would be more hands on like going through your hair seeing your scalp getting the density of it instead of a straight interview. I would of just opted for the video chat if I knew. But the workers were kind and welcoming and I believe the prices are fair.

For the past 12 years I’ve maintained my own locs. Due to mental illness and social anxiety, I don’t leave the house much. With that being said, Shawntice was very professional and patient with me! I love the atmosphere of this salon and the customer service! Everyone was so polite! Once she finished my service, I fell in love with my hair all over again! Doesn't answer their emails or phone. Which makes little sense considering they encourage you to use their email for questions or other concerns. Was attempting to reschedule an appointment, but since I can't get to an actual person, I'm out $40. If it's this hard to get in touch with someone I think I'll take my business elsewhere.

Every Locitician is Very well trained. & seems to know what they're doing. I recently just got starter locs & I'm excited for this loc journey. I would recommend to others to get services there.
