BE PREPARED FOR SECURITY....ladies clutch bag or smaller...umbrellas have to be left at the door & collected after the show..AT Least for this show, those were the rules.... Amazing workmanship with this place. The acoustics aren't bad...aren't great...but not bad. Was near the back in orchestra row bb... for Danielle Ponder opening who was AMAZING... & Leon Bridges Headliner....A TRUE PERFORMER... MUCH RESPECT!!! For this show merchandise tables set up in ideal locations....For drinks be prepared for a line...regardless & lack of options with Ballpark prices...NO CASH >>Card only option<<... The building is quite unique if you enjoy architecture....Seating..meh... seating isn't exactly staggered row to row...so it is possible to get a not so great seat.... But if the show is fantastic the seating doesn't matter.... ENJOY WHATEVER SHOW YOU ATTEND...HERES A PEEK AT MINE
I coincidently moved in just a couple of doors down from my All-time favorite venue for any show, concert, movie or tour. The place speaks for itself. It is stunning on the inside and out. If you come to Louisville Kentucky you MUST come here for some entertainment. One way or another find an event here or time to tour it. You will not regret it! Oh and if you're going to watch a band you should notice the acoustics are great in this place!
Very cool venue and has good acoustics. Lots of drink stations and a pretty massive place. My only complaint really is that some of the rows have grates in them, probably for spilled drinks, and you will end up standing on them and they will hurt your feet for sure. My foot is still sore this morning from standing on one multiple times.
I love the Palace! The theater is beautiful. I do strongly advise patrons to read the venue entrance requirements before attending a performance. There was a massive bottleneck at the entry because most of the crowd at our show didn't. A few quibbles- the seats are a bit narrow and the aisles to the orchestra seats are treacherously steep. I'm still giving them 5 stars because it's a really cool building!
Went to see Dave Chappell at the Palace. They had bars set up everywhere to include right out the bathroom doors. The bathrooms were very well kept. If you go to a show...take a jacket. It gets cold inside the theater.
We attended our first concert at the Palace recently, and were absolutely taken away by the details to the interior. Definably worth stopping by to check out even if not for a show. We will be adding this to our list of venues to start seeing more concerts and shows at.
Always clean, friendly staff, and awesome acts. The theater itself manages to make shows feel intimate despite it's size. The beautiful and unique decor makes The Palace one of a kind and so freaking cool. Every time I come in I can't help but just stare around for several minutes. Especially for certain shows, the ambiance seriously adds to the performance.
Excellent venue. We attended a Puscifer show Don’t ask and it was amazing. Beautiful theater. Loge front right is perfect.
This will always be my favorite venue. My first concert at 16 years old was Godsmack at The Palace. Also on my list of awesome preformers I've seen there over the years: BB King, Alice Cooper, Jimmy Eat World to name a few. The next one my wife Suzie are excited for is Puscifer. I've already seen Tool and A Perfect Circle. So Puscifer will complete the hat trick. The Palace looks amazing inside and worth checking out just to see the elegant decor. Nick Sea gives it 5 Butterfingers up!
Awesome venue. Easy access and parking at The Brown hotel $10. Inside is beautiful. Excellent sound. Lots of different bars to get drinks. Definitely coming back.
