The Man Salon

I just got an unbelievably bad haircut at this place. My previous hair stylist moved and I had this was my first stop on my search. First alarm sign was how few questions were asked about how to cut my hair. As someone who isn’t a hair stylist I can’t really describe what I need without being asked the right questions. My haircut normally takes an hour to an hour and a half without color, this haircut took no more than 20 minutes and the lack of effort shows. I’ve only ever gotten haircuts from places like Great Clips in the past, and was feeling a little nervous about trying something new. Making an appointment was quick and painless, and the atmosphere was amazing! Honestly, cost was very similar to something like Great Clips, but with a hot towel, and hair wash included. I don’t usually leave reviews but after having mediocre haircuts for about a year straight, I had to leave a 5 star for Haley K. She’s about the only barber I trust at this point.

Guys, it might be tempting to run through a Great Clips to save a couple bucks, but please do yourself a favor and go here instead. It might cost a couple bucks more, but not looking like a lopsided thumb is worth the money. My favorite part of the man salon is the online booking. I can jump on their website and pick a time that works for me. I know when I'm getting in and out and not playing the lobby game. Plus, MS has big comfy leather chairs to relax in before your appointment. You can also use the website to see which stylists are available and go back and visit their profile to see if they specialize in the cut you are looking for. Be warned, though. If you are looking for a beard trim or nostril wax, not every stylist was created equal. Some are trained in that specialty, and some are not. Worth giving a call if you aren't sure who to book. Each booth has its own TV that you can change the channel on, which is nice if you don't want to chat. I usually try and book with Shelby, as she had always nailed my haircut and, most recently, a beard trim. Don't skip the hot towel during the hair washing, either. They provide a quick shoulder massage, which I do skip as I think it's a little awkward, but no one has ever made it weird. It just seems a little out of place with a haircut for me. It's hard out there, so looking your best is the easiest part thanks to the talented staff at MS. Don't forget to tip!

I’m not one to use this to communicate a bad experience normal I call and handle it that way but the fact that I got hung up on and called back again right away no one answered. I’m going to use this to explain what was wrong. First the beard trim was good the part time gal did a great job with that everything looks good but the haircut was rough my sides were fine but my back was bad like really bad. I had good size patch of hair on the top back side of my head that was missed. I wanted a very short fade going all around my head where it almost looks like a undercut but wasn’t quite there with my long hair left on top. Instead I got my sides short with my back on head still left long.Services: Beard trim

Great place and cool atmosphere! Got a haircut and beard trim, and couldn't be happier with either. Stylist Stacia took great care of me! Man Salon, you'll for sure see me again! Man Salon was super professional in and out with cut and washi twenty minutes, was greeted shortly after entering, three minutes later getting hair cut.

Got an appointment right away and got taken in on time. Good haircut.
