Great casino, very clean. Love the self service drink station. Great comps. They have 24/7 shuttles back and forth to the hotels located down in front of the casino, very convenient, hubby and I stay at the Hilton. We love that we don't need to drive back and forth up to the casino. We haven't stayed at the new hotel that's connected to casino yet.

Not a big casino fan but it's fun to go every once in a while. The all you can eat restaurant was good but if you plan to go there are coupons out there for buy one get one so make sure you look around. We got ours from our hotel, Holiday Inn down the street. Over all it is ok but hate just having the one bar, takes a while to get a drink. It was clean and had good security so I guess that's a plus right.

I have always enjoyed coming to The Meadows. The nearly 2 hour drive has never been a problem compared to the quality of entertainment I received while here. But tonight's issue has left me with a bitter taste for the future of coming here. Allow me to explain the situation and judge for yourself.
Upon entering the building security has the option of checking your ID or if you meet their visual requirements allowing you to pass through. Although I was not ask, since it was in my hand I offered my ID. (Big mistake on my part) Since my last visit they have installed a new system. For whatever reason the machine would not read my ID, and no one knew what it was reading anyway. Therefore I was declined entry. Now I understand the need to keep out underage and illegal people. I politely ask if I could clean the ID thinking that possibly dirt or something on it was the reason. I was again declined. They did tell me a concealed carry, passport, or military ID was accepted. Unfortunately I don't carry a gun, and was unable to serve in the military. Discouraged but still maintaining my manners I ask if possible to see someone in upper management and with my Ohio drivers license, players club card, 4 different credit cards, my work business card, and 3 other cards all containing my name and some my address would be sufficient with a visual verification by management. Again I was declined even the chance.
Now as I stated, I received no assistance in trying to get the failure of their machine reconciled and corrected. Since I am 37 years old and plenty look my age, with the fact I was not ask to present ID, along with the many other name bearing items I had in my possession (including The Meadows card) I find it very hard to say that they did their best to assist me with the issue of the machine failing.
Normally I don't waste my time to write a bad review of a place I normally enjoy. But the 2 hour drive home isn't going to be filled with the memories of the good time I had at The Meadows. I believe that with a little more effort and acceptance of the obvious more could have been done to fix the issue. Not sure if I'll ever be returning to my once favorite card room. I guess I have a 2 hour drive to debate it to myself.
Sincerely,
A man looking for a new card room to spend his money in.

I truly appreciate the manger name Kyle getting back in touch with me and bringing comfort and professionalism to an issue that had taken place. The way he handled our situation was true customer service. Very much appreciated.

You know I actually enjoyed bringing my residents to this casino but however the first time ever I needed their assistance with a issue a resident for into, no one was able to even suggest any professional assistance to make a 90 something individual happy. Unhappy resident, 1star rating.

Went with family and friends as they come here often. I was less than impressed by the place. Only could find one or two cocktail servers on the whole floor and despite gambling for a couple of hours couldn't get a single drink. Also we rarely burn through our allotted gambling funds that fast but that is just luck I guess.
