Play the Cate course and the back nine of the Irwin course, both for the first time. The greens were in fantastic condition, very quick and had significant slopes. The Cate nine has a significant amount of water in play (on every hole or almost every hole) and is a good layout. Of the two, the Irwin nine was my favorite for sure, very fair open layout, and similar fast, well conditioned and slopey greens. Coastal courses typically aren't my favorite but I would absolutely play the Irwin course and am excited to play the front nine. Highly recommend!

A really good course in St. James Plantation. Love the variety of design and course layout. I have played this course more than once and enjoy the challenge each time.

The course is of moderate difficulty. The greens are fast and provide the most challenge to the game. The fairways and greens are in great shape.
