Location is fine, units are nice, but security has holes. Watch out. Few facts observed in a seven years stay on rental: - despite the property is safeguarded, I got a bike stolen from within the indoor garage, no action was taken, nor I received any followup whatsoever despite I was diligent in reporting, and I asked many times for updates, and note, they have videos. - In one case Nov. 2018, I had even some stranger getting at the HOA claiming to be me, to collect something I was entitled to have. The value at stake was negligible, but the issue deserved attention from the security standpoint, because if you let a stranger get away with that, he might try this kind of fraud later on, and maybe for something more important. HOA just couldn’t care less !. When I raised the problem to them, initially they wouldn’t even answer. To get some attention I had to ask the courtesy to the house owner who is a private individual and a true gentleman, not part of the organization to chime in the email thread. To HIM, they replied at least, but basically “bouncing the ball back” once more: they won’t put any effort in understanding why did that happen, nor in preventing future occurrences of the problem and they have cameras at the HOA too. Even a one liner like “let us check what happened and get back to you” would have sounded better. Instead not a bit of courtesy or interest came back. Not even a “we’re sorry for what happened and we’ll make sure this won’t happen again”. Absolutely nothing. - procedures for checking in the guests are sloppy and not followed through, or followed through inconsistently countless instances. - HOA staff’s attitude is often rude on top of not helpful as above described, which certainly doesn’t help.
