The Montana Club Restaurant

On May 3rd, our party of 4 went out to dinner. I ordered my steak medium rare to rare -- it was WELL done. Waitress had me move my baked potato to a napkin on the table, and mushrooms to the table so she could take the steak back to the kitchen to prove that it was well done. She told me to go ahead and eat them while the cooked another steak. We were sitting less than 15 feet from the kitchen. Thought she could have just gone and gotten another plate and moved the steak to that plate and moved the steak to that plate. Eating a baked potato off of a napkin, not all that easy! They were not that busy!

The mini gyro's were amazing. If I would have just had that for dinner I would have scored it a 5, but the steak was just ok. I had an expectation of what I thought I was getting, the actual NY steak was perfect, but I had a different idea of what the blue cheese and mushrooms would look like. Oh, and the cucumbers with my salad were old looking. Simple things like fresh cucumbers could have upped the rating to a 4.

We had dinner there last night. My seafood trio was absolutely horrible. The wife had king crab legs and steak and it was great, The service was good also. I would go back but order something different.

Food was good, but our lunch server was the bartender and took a long time to bring me my receipt after taking my card. Kids loved the grilled cheese, and my turkey cranberry was pretty great. Fries were some of the best I've ever had.

Montana Club is consistently a great place. Their food is always good and the staff is always polite and friendly. The prices are a little high, but the place is nice and the food will not disappoint. They have pretty good prime rib, and steaks. They also have "Hoagieville" chees fries on their menu, which are delicious and addicting.
