I have taken music lessons at several different music studios throughout my life, but the Music Studio Atlanta is hands-down the most warm, helpful, and family-oriented studio I’ve been to! Since my very first day, my vocal teacher has always made me feel welcome and safe to sing with her in my lessons which is especially important to me as I have always been a shy singer. After just a few lessons, I instantly felt more confident in my singing thanks to the uplifting yet constructive feedback I receive during my weekly lessons. The lessons are fun, insightful, and engaging. Their teachers give you their undivided attention and it is clear that they value your time and overall musical growth. The flexible curriculum has also allowed me to learn the music that I want to learn while still gaining proper vocal training in a fun setting! As a professionally trained instrumentalist who attended music school in college, I strongly recommend this studio to anyone looking to gain a quality music education in a very family-oriented atmosphere! :-

The Music Studio Atlanta has good teachers for weekly lessons. Where this operation falls SEVERELY short is in the production aspect for recitals - properly managing audio equipment and basic instrument set-up. Recitals are the primary platform where students get to showcase their talents, and at a minimum should be managed by competent individuals with audio troubleshooting experience and a baseline knowledge of how instruments should be tailored to each performance. As a parent and audience member, I should not have to leave my seat to hold a kick drum in place for a performer, while the Music Studio staff looks on as if I am a member of their staff. We are beyond dissatisfied and will be taking our money and child's talent to a more suitable environment where passion for music, professionalism and technical knowledge are on full display at all times.

Both my daughter and I have been taking voice lessons at the music studio Atlanta. My experience so far has been nothing short of AMAZING. After just one voice lesson I noticed a crazy amount of improvement in the way my daughter was singing. I listened at the door Lol and could hear the tips and tools her teacher was giving and it showed instantly. The improvement has only increased since then and she LOVES her teacher so much. For me, as an adult who had never sang in front of anyone, I’m proud to say I just performed in my first recital!! While I almost pooped my pants, I still did it the wine that was served was a plus and a help lol. It felt like I accomplished something that I’ve wanted to do my whole life. The ONLY reason I was able to do it is because my teacher gave me the tools to get the courage. I will never ever forget what she’s done for me. So if you’re a mom looking for lessons for your child, this is the perfect place. But also, if you’re an adult thinking about taking lessons, please just do it. It’ll impact you in ways you won’t understand until you experience it. Also, you will not find a more affordable studio WITH SUBSTANCE or performance opportunities. The teachers are top quality, the warmth is evident from start to finish, and it’s one of the smartest decisions I’ve ever made.

I value taking piano lessons from Danielle, who is highly knowledgeable about both piano and composition. I love talking with her about music theory, especially as it applies to my own songwriting. I have grown musically from our conversations and she is also a wonderful human to be around.

I love taking lessons at TMS!! I’ve been a vocalist my whole life and was already professionally trained when I came to TMS but never had a teacher who poured into my dreams and goals vocally, so I was very insecure and scared of using my voice. When I started at TMS and met my teacher, I was instantly met with compassion and ”I believe in you”. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for. My confidence and vocal range have grown so much in just a few months all because I finally found a studio with teachers who are honest and genuine in their coaching and bring love and excitement into the space. Paired with the strong teaching I receive weekly, the performance opportunities have been so helpful to challenge my fears of “not being good enough”. I got to participate in the Destination Performance at the Fox Theatre and the Adult Holiday Recital and the community of students are so full of encouragement and gratefulness to just share music together. The fact that not only the staff is so great, but the student community too… it’s just such a loving space. At TMS, I learned that while there may always be room for growth and learning in our passion for music, I’m still always good enough and music makes space for everyone so excited to continue my music journey with them!

I am so happy to have The Music Studio at Vinings as a part of the community! After many years of car and shower singing, I decided to bite the bullet and start taking voice lessons. I was really nervous, but TMS made it fun and easy to find the best time for me each week and matched me with a teacher that I felt safe, comfortable and loved by! More than anything, my teacher has helped me gain confidence and stay inspired to keep practicing every week. We pick music that resonates with me and I stay excited about all of our material because we have chosen it together! Taking music lessons has been such a beautiful form of therapy and I am so grateful to have this place to grow and blossom with. I set a goal when I first started taking lessons six months ago to perform at least once in front of a crowd. I am terrified of public speaking, and taking voice lessons has helped me actively work to conquer this fear. I am proud to say, I was recently able to perform in front of a group and it was the best feeling to celebrate all of my hard work and dedication with my teacher! I also have been able to expand my range by multiple notes with techniques and guidance. I highly recommend this studio for adults interested in finding a new passion or revisiting an old love of music. It's wonderful for children as well and they make it easy for families to take lessons at the same time, together! I love supporting this family owned and managed company and can't say enough good things about the Director, Cecilia. She is so dedicated to her mission and leads with so much love and kindness, but also with decades of experience in music education. Stop by the studio for a tour 7 days a week and see for yourself why this place is a little slice of heaven!

The Music Studio at Vinings offers music classes in 30 minute increments during the day, evening and weekends. My children are homeschooled so we are able to take advantage of the discounted day spots. We have taken both Piano and violin here.

We have been very pleased with The Music Studio Atlanta. They are informative and the teachers are very knowledgeable of their crafts. So far we have no complaints. We wish lessons were a bit longer. Our teacher Bryant has been awesome! He has been very patient and encouraging with our son which means A LOT!!!

I am an adult taking a sabbatical with time to take piano lessons. My experience with The Music Studio Atlanta has been wonderful. My teacher is knowledgeable and patient. Even taking time off from work, life's demands are still there. Take as an adult if you can because it is never too late, but take as a child if you have the opportunity. They have great teachers for everybody.
