In 1989 I began a career in industrial Food Ingredient sales here in Northern California. Currently and for the past 26 years I sell large amounts of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and other edible oils to Tomato Packing Plants and bottling companies. As part of that Food Brokering operation, I also sell Extra Virgin Olive Oil and other edible oils to food ingredient distributors across the nation who in turn service and sell to the Restaurants in their areas. I truly enjoy representing and selling high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil to the various venues I have mentioned.
In 2011 I located a retail location in Manteca, California and opened up an Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar tasting room and retail store. The store has been totally enjoyable to me as I love working with the public and in my food brokerage operation I just work with the buyers of the packing plants and bottling operations. I opened up the OLIVE OIL PANTRY & TASTING ROOM #2 in Livermore (at the popular 1st Street Livermore) on June 19, 2015. I designed the store to be a mirror image of the store in Manteca, but the store is over twice the size as Manteca. The people and tourist that frequent Livermore are thrilled with the store. It is spacious and decorated to reflect the top quality products we represent. We keep our Olive Oil in Stainless Steel "Fustis" from Italy and the Vinegars are kept in custom made crocks. The customers come to the store and taste whatever they like of the 26 Extra Virgin and flavored Olive Oils, from the 28 types of Aged and Aged flavored Balsamic Vinegars, and the 4 types of flavored and natural "table" (regular) Vinegars. If they like something they have tasted we hand pack fresh in the bottle from the bulk containers the products are kept in.
Both my supplier and I are very strict on quality; it is our main focus. With that I have trained my selling staff to have total courtesy and give the best possible customer service to anyone that comes into the store.
