I just got out of the best surgery experience ever I've had one previous surgery. Kristie Wilson-Panum and her team are amazing. Everyone on the team sat with me and chatted for a few minutes each before starting surgery, and when I went in I made some jokes and the whole team thought I was funny and sweet . It was really night to be able to bond with the team beforehand, it really made me feel safe and like I genuinely could trust them with me life. They all fought really hard to be able to salvage my ovary from a 10cm cyst that had basically almost destroyed it entirely-- The doctors in my hometown said I wouldn't be able to keep the ovary and I was crushed. But everyone at this hospital and who I saw and who helped me every step of the way was well trained and very sweet with good bedside manner wonderful humor it was such a good experience And I got to keep both ovaries!!!!!! I would highly recommend this team and this hospital. Everything was very clean and nice and well cared for-- including me Every possible precaution that could have been taken was being taken I've been anxious about needing this surgery for a long time, and I did a lot of research, and read just about every review I could find on every person and place involved -- and these were the people and the place that I needed. I hope, if you're worried or stressed about surgery here, my review can be a comfort and a reassurance -- You will be well taken care of here, and the staff will go above and beyond to take care of you Also side note, if it's of any use to anyone else, but they did all this kindness and high quality care, even with me having OHP -- and I've had a hard time sometimes with doctors in the pass seemingly caring about me less because of my income and insurance status. These people did not discriminate against me in any way for being a little on the poor-er side of things. And they also didn't discriminate against me for my weight, which was a big deal for me too. I had been really concerned about both of those things, because in the past, it has brought the quality of my care down. These people are the literal best, and I hope that if you're reading this, you can feel a lot more secure about whatever it is you're going here for These people are good, and they will take care of you
The person scheduling my appointment was rude and incompetent. They wasted my time, because they did not know how to do their job or help me sign up for patient portal, which was required. I had to call back 3-4 times for them just to keep me on hold forever, and to tell me to come an hour earlier prior to appointment to sign forms by hand, because they couldn't figure it out. This would not be a problem at all, but this receptionist was so unprofessional and uncaring, that I am forced to write this: you are in healthcare, please care about the patients, don't turn people away from getting health care they need, because I felt turned away. And please learn one of the following: phone etiquette skills or simple compassion/kindness. Thank you.
Organized, polite, helpful, well informed and most importantly, caring and talented physician in Dr Lara Williams!
The NPs here are fantastic. Had a great experience while there and I felt like they really cared. Only bad part-- make sure you complete the paperwork 3 days before your appointment. I had tech issues and was not able to do it until 2 days before, but they still canceled my appointment without telling me and that really frustrated. I was hesitant to make another appointment, but I did, and the experience was great. I wish they could be more accommodating about the paperwork but otherwise I recommend it.
Best clinic I’ve ever been to. My doctors are very in tune with my needs and wants with my body. Couldn’t ask for a better clinic
Does not care about making sure their patients receive the care they need. I was referred to Dr. Williams by my naturopathic doctor who said she specialized in the issue I was experiencing. Called to set up an appointment and the next available was a few months out. I was told that I couldn’t see another practitioner in their office before then and still keep my appointment. Then I received several phone calls that my appointment would be cancelled if I did not complete my paperwork several days before then appointment. I was swamped at work and so I called and spoke to someone and pleaded with them not to cancel the appointment. They promised me that they would not and I finished the paperwork by that evening. When I showed up for the appointment Wednesday at 5 pm I was told that it had been canceled because I hadn’t finished the paperwork by Monday at noon. I told them what had happened and asked why no one had notified me that it had been canceled. Even though I was in tears at that point, I was told that my account was not what the notes said happened really?! and that I wouldn’t be able to get another appointment for a month in a half. Who does this?! Good riddance. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctors office and I will be reporting it to the Oregon clinic corporate office and the joint commission.
I am so grateful for the experience I have had with Dr. Bethany Brady Ambrosi. I am new to the area and needed to be seen as soon as possible, and they were able to get me in within a few days. Dr. Ambrosi was so kind and caring. She listened empathetically and made me feel heard. At a prior gynecologists office I had undergone a procedure that was quite traumatic for me, but when I had the procedure repeated with Dr. Ambrosi it was the opposite experience. I am so glad to have found a provider that makes me feel so comfortable.
I love the team at Oregon Clinic! Warm, friendly, knowledgeable. My only feedback is that I wish the rooms were a bit more warm and inviting. Some paint and a little more decor could make it a bit less scary and cold, especially when dealing with not so fun things.
I don't know what the deal is with their staff. When I call they are really vague, giving only yes and no answers to detailed questions and become noticeably upset and respond rudely to clarifying questions. In my experience, this is a sign of overwork and poor managerial support. At one point they even told the doctor that I referred to her by a pejorative. I was frustrated and clearly stated my expectations in the call, but I was still professional and do not use pejoratives even in casual conversation, so I was very put off by the response of the staff and the fabrication about our conversation. The office manager returned my call and started it in an accusatory way. We clarified, but my trust and patience are depleted. In another situation, they indicated that they had sent referrals for me to multiple other specialists but none had received them. It took a three-way call to clear things up. After the three-way call, my referral was sent to the wrong clinic or maybe it was their intention to send the referral there, as I said, their communication style is very vague, so it is my understanding that it was sent to a different clinic than intended. They are not a good fit for me and I have transitioned to a new provider and I do not recommend them. They need a serious overhaul of their administrative procedures.
I have always felt in great hands with Dr Williams. She knows her stuff and is very capable and confident. I love this clinic that feels very comfortable with them being open to natural and holistic ideas as well as more conventional. The staff is always wonderful and helpful.
