The doctors and staff are excellent. Great care and very supportive follow-up. Billing was really great to work with also, as my insurance didn't cover some of the services performed. HOWEVER, be prepared. They are expensive and they do work with other partners, so you could receive multiple invoices for one visit. Be prepared to do some follow-up with the 3rd party vendors. I had to call both lab work and imaging review to give them my insurance information as it wasn't passed along to them by Oregon Clinic. I would definitely recommend them for the level of care and communication/follow-up.
Had a really terrible experience here this morning. I was nearly there from traveling two hours for my appointment when I received a call informing me my appointment was canceled. The receptionist had absolutely no compassion, just answered matter of factly as I was crying on the phone because I urgently needed to get in and have waited over a month for this appointment that they could just reschedule me maybe in a week. Couldn’t even muster a “I’m so sorry, and you’ve already traveled so far. That’s terrible I really wish we could’ve gotten you in today.” If you want long waits for appointments and staff that are essentially human robots then this is your place.
Friendly and competent staff. Efficient but still took time to make comments, ask questions, and offer information in a way that you felt that they were taking time to support you, not just fulfill a function. Staff was definitely competent and skilled. The nurse practitioner was fully versed on my questions and concerns, and how to deal with a couple of particular issues. The office and medical staff knew tips and tricks to successfully navigate complicated insurance issues, and offered this advice well before I fell into our insurance system's potholes. They also took extra time to research the specialist offices that would take my insurance, and we debated about which offices would be the least confusing to navigate around. : Definitely would recommend the great staff and clinicians at the Oregon Clinic!
The staff are compassionate and helpful. Lianne Corliss explains everything she is doing. She allows time for questions and concerns. I feel very confident in her care.
You don’t get call backs on lab results just emails In your online chart. Also I was asked to supply a urine sample but then it was never sent to the lab. On my intake form where they ask about medical history they put down history of drug abuse because I smoked marijuana years ago. The scheduling is horrible if you are working full time. I asked for a call back about scheduling a appointment and never received a call back. There are other little things that have been “meh” as well but my pregnancy brain can’t think of them at the moment. On the plus side the nurses and ultrasound staff are awesome and very nice/caring. They are very personable. I am never made to feel weird when I call in to ask a question.
My review is for Dr. Patel and the team at Midwifery East at Providence. On October 13th I was admitted because my 32 week fetus was having random heart decelerations. Over the next 2 weeks I was kept hospitalized on 24 heart rate monitoring and he my baby continued having on average 10 decels a day. Each time, nurses would rush in and we would change my positions and administer oxygen and IV fluid until he recovered within a couple minutes. There was a plan in place to deliver by emergency c-section if he ever showed signs of not recovering. The nurses and the entire Oregon Clinic team I usually worked with Denali, Patel, Bley, Caldwell and Polo worked tirelessly over those couple weeks to keep my baby and I safe. On October 26th, on his 34th week of gestation, we decided to deliver by regular cesarean surgery. He was born at 12:36pm healthy and handsome, and we discovered the cause of his heart decelerations were because of a nuchal cord around his neck. I have no doubt in my mind that the team of physicians and nurses saved the life of my baby. I am eternally grateful, and would recommend The Oregon Clinic Midwifery East, as well as the entire L&D team at Providence in Glisan to anyone and everyone. We had an incredibly difficult and unique situation and they handled it beautifully. My son is now on his journey to homecoming in the NICU at Providence and improving everyday. Thank you to all involved.
I can't speak more highly of the midwives esp Coco Corbett, doctors esp Patell and technicians esp Taylor involved in the birth of my first child. My case was complicated, but they were prompt to follow up, provided outstanding medical care, and were compassionate and professional throughout. I will be returning to their team in another year fingers crossed, and recommend them wholeheartedly!
Dr. Franz, along with the rest of the staff at The Oregon Clinic are phenomenal. I was recommended by my primary care physician and I’ve had nothing but a good experience. They are on time, friendly and answer all of your question thoroughly, making sure you understand any procedures, symptoms, treatments etc. I’d recommend Dr. Franz and The Oregon Clinic to anyone looking for a fantastic gynecologist.
Dr Heller is the most knowledgeable and culturally specific Dr available in Oregon.
I am a straight white woman, so I admit I feel safe in many environments like this, but I feel this place is exceptional. They handle so many requests and so many clients but do so with such grace and efficiency. Dr. d-l put me instantly at ease. Staff and nurses the same. Highly recommend this place.
