The visit was a five, the after visit has been a 2 or less. During the visit the doctor suggested a cranberry supplement daily which is fine but since my mother is in a memory care unit and has a Medtech administering all drugs prescription and OTC a doctors order for the supplement is required. We have been trying for three weeks to get this and as of Friday Oct 7, we have not been able to get a correct faxed order to the Medtech at the facility. Very frustrating.
Excellent visit with a world class doctor. He listened carefully to my concerns, and offered a variety of options. I work in health care, so I know good medicine when I see it. I sure found it here.
Second UPDATE: New urologist is great. And working with Good Sam instead of Providence helps because wait times for labs and imaging are much less. Happy I spoke with Director of Operations and happy to learn that the previous urologist is no longer with the practice. Things can change for the better. UPDATE: Spoke with the Director of Operations as requested in the reply to this review. She was more thoughtful than the doctor I saw ever was if the doctor was ever thoughtful, he never shared it with me. Am cautiously optimistic for a new doctor and a care plan that is better than "just go to the ER if you have problems." Contacting this office is the worst. I became a patient of one of the doctors via an emergency room visit for kidney stones. The urologist inserted ureteral stents which require monitoring and removal. However, calling the office to schedule the required follow up resulted in long waits on hold, when I could get through at all. I could not get an appointment to even *see* the doctor within the time frame the stents were meant to be removed he was busy and had two vacations with no vacation coverage, let alone get the stents removed. I was told by a receptionist on one of those fortunate days I could actually talk to one to "just go to the Emergency Room". I waited and when I finally got the stent removed, it resulted in a lot of pain. When I called the office to check in about this, I ended up on endless hold. I left a message and NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK. They seem to take no responsibility for the work and procedures they do and the "Emergency Room" is their entire back up. Trying now to switch doctors hoping both care and access might demonstrate a tiny bit of compassion for those of us who need care but phone access is worse than ever. I waited and waited hearing "there are 7 callers ahead of you," "there are 4 callers," 3, 2, 1, now 2 callers, now 4 callers, now 1 caller, 1 caller, 1 caller, 1 caller, now "all of our agents are speaking with other callers". I gave up after 40 minutes. I attempted to request an appointment online but after inputting all required information, the request-appointment screen sat with a "loading" message and spinning wheel for 30 minutes; it never submitted my request. I can only assume this clinic is sick of patients and would prefer we go elsewhere, perhaps the ER. I had wanted to establish a relationship with a good doctor, but they're clearly not interested in facilitating that. So, I'm left to fend for myself. I guess if I get in trouble, there's always the ER. Calling this office has made me furious and sad. I feel very alone in caring for my kidneys and keeping clear of kidney stones. It seems that no matter what I do, I end up on my own with the overt spoken message: go to the ER, and the unspoken message: we don't care about you, go away.
Always friendly people. Dr Klemmens is my doctor and friend. I like your service. b.kante.
Always a positive visit with Dr. Klemmen. Super easy to talk to and tells me exactly what's going on. He addresses my concerns and has improved my quality of life. It's great to have a specialist like Dr. Klemmen. Don't hesitate to set up your appointment or get a referral from your PCP. My Care Oregon-OHP March 2020 to Feb. 2022 has covered my visits without any red tape on my end.
Everything went great from start to finish. Check in was very respectful and following the COVID guidelines. Staff was on point and made the experience smooth as possible. Procedure went extremely well. Received a follow up call at home to make sure all was going well and answer any questions that I may have. Great experience, I would highly recommend the clinic and the team. I would return for future services without any concerns.
I was admitted from ER and DR Lance Mars, did stent for kidney stone, procedure on me. He was arrogant, cold, like he was doing me a favor. Then, he NEVER followed up with me in hospital. I was there for 4 days, not even someone from his urology team came. The tending DR was a geriatric dr. I'm home, need to schedule to have the stent removed. Obviously, not wanting Dr Marr's, I called and spoke with Clinic Manager and explained my frustration. Since my procedure 6 days ago, Dr Marr's, nor anyone from his team has contacted me to see if I'm ok. I have questions. Like, WHAT DID YOU DO WHILE I WAS SLEEPING? According to "notes" not what he told me pre-op. Are my pains I'm feeling normal? Should I be seeing this? Clinic manager could have cared less. Showed no compassion. Just excuses for Dr Marrs. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO DR MARRS
The doctors here are very talented and informed. They're also very nice, even when patients can be rude or mean. The doctor I worked with, Madelyn, was a very good source of information. All the people here are very responsive. I sent a long email with lots of questions to my doctor, Madelyn, and she responded right away with good information. I'm glad I dealt with my issues at this location.
i was very pleased with my experience with Oregon Clinic. Everyone was pleasant. The appointment was pretty streamlined. Dr. Marr was very encouraging and efficient.
I gave them a one star if they even deserve a star at all! They made a appointment for my daughter a week ago . And they lacked giving her all of the total Info she needs like the suite # she needs to be at 515 which we went to 3 different suites. And to the fact she can’t bring a visitor mother for moral support. I travel for 45 minutes to sit in the hallway. The lady that greeted her was quite rude on how she told me I needed to go out in the hallway. One it was quite their fault for not giving all the details to my daughter. I spoke to the manager of the office while I sat in the hallway! And she basically just pacified me or tried to pacify me saying that she was sorry which we know that’s all they do is apologize I don’t even know if she’ll even say anything to the person that scheduled it. Possibly just a slap on the hand if even that!!
