Story

The Organic Salon is the newest endeavor for Master Sustainable Stylist Alyssa Housh.

Alyssa has been a professional hairstylist for nearly 15 years. After completing her Bachelor's of Environmental Studies & Sustainability in 2011, she was anxious to leave the beauty industry. Although she was deeply in love with many aspects of her profession, she had come to realize the overwhelmingly negative human health and environmental impacts it produced. Upon reflection, Alyssa decided to stay in the industry she loves and try to improve it.

"it has become my passion to reduce the negative impacts of this industry through providing better solution to clients and salons. There are better products available that use safer, more natural ingredients while producing the impressively beautiful! I wanted to make sure clients have better options as well as decrease the waste produced by salons."

Alyssa's products and services include; Organic Colour Systems professional colour and texture ranges & retail products, KeraGreen Smoothing System, and Davines retail products.
