"Have a drink for charity! Angel Share HTX gives 100 percent profits from our special menu to charity. Each month, we select four Houston-based, 501c3 non-profits we believe significantly impact our local community to be one of four monthly nominees. Each time you purchase a drink or food item, you get to choose which charity you want to win the profits for the next month. At the end of the month, the organization with the most votes becomes the following month's beneficiary. So have a drink and help the community. For you, For Hou."

The vibe and charitable drinks make this place cool and unique. There is a list of drinks under Charity where you get a ticket and can decide what charity it donates to. The G&T is the purple drink in most of the photos. Warning if you not into bitter drinks don't order it. It looks super cute, so you would assume a sweet drink. Over all it's still a good drink, but if you want something sweet go with the one that has face in it's name. You can pick any celebrity or air drop them a photo from your phone and they can put it on top of the foam.
Support H town businesses especially one that donates directly to charity. This is such a cool, picture worthy bar! Music is on point, good for dancing and hanging with friends. Perfect date night spot. Perfect for bar hopping downtown. Everyone super welcoming, a highlight!
All-day happy hour on Monday! You'd hear anything from RnB, soul, and pop music, to name a few. Not too loud so you'd enjoy a conversation. Mixed crowd and friendly staff. The beneficiary with the most ticket votes at the end of each month gets 100% of the donated profits for that month. Girl boss vibe bar, however, I saw plenty of fellas enjoying their time opportunity online to reserve/request to book for a private events.
This is one of the best bars I have been to in Houston. When you buy a drink, you get a ticket to vote for the charity of your choosing. At the end of the month, after paying all the bills the bar donates any extra money to the charity that has the most votes. It's wonderful to help out in any way, especially by just going out to a bar for a night. The atmosphere was welcoming, there is a pool table, an upstairs area, and many places to sit. If you're in the downtown Houston area, come visit Angel Share!
I found this place through an app called Meetup. It was so nice to meet Maryellen and drink for a good cause! Everyone was so nice, and the drinks were amazing. I ordered the parmesan fries to go with my drink and they were so freaking good. I definitely want to come back again when I can!
Super fun bar with a great bonus: supporting charitable initiatives. The bar has everything from tasty craft beers to amazing cocktails. The Empress Gin and Tonic is fabulous. Also, there is a mural of Saint Dolly Parton. Enough said. Go here, enjoy.
Nice venue. I liked the "voting" options. Efficient service. Patron saint Betty White watches over you and ensures a good time.
One of my favorite bars ever. The drinks are great the staff is friendly and every drink is a vote to support amazing charities. Honestly this place has our all and is a cannot miss.
I love charity work, so it's only natural to come here. Quaint little bar with almost a church feel. Drinks are decently priced.. $6 pints $5 during happy hour 4-7.. tap isn't as expansive as I'd have liked but they have local faves like Karbach Love Street Citrus and Eureka Heights, so I'll let the selection slide. Buy a drink and they donate to charities like the Kyle Tucker Foundation. Come visit, you won't regret it.
We booked Angel Share for our wedding reception with pretty short notice. Mary Ellen was excellent to work with and her team was excellent the night of our reception. Not to mention it was during game 6 of the World Series. It was pretty great to have an our own bar for the night when no one could get into another bar downtown that night. They stayed late and helped clean up, kept the drinks flowing for our guests. We did a half day buy out for the evening 8pm to 2am, plus an extra hour for the time change, and the buyout price was just about perfect for our group of ≈ 150 guests. The space is the perfect size for that number as well. Music, kitchen, setup, everything was great. We were able to have our catering delivered and set up before we arrived and we even brought our own Mariachi band! There’s a small and very reasonable fee for outside catering. We can’t wait to we have another occasion to work with Mary Ellen and her team at AngelShareHTX
