The Palmer Building

From the moment we stepped into the Palmer Building we knew this was the perfect place for my daughter's wedding. The venue is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. The stone on the building sets the cozy and warm feeling along with the two large fireplaces. Gretchen and Anjie were amazing to work with. They were so accommodating from our first meeting to the final hours there. We were allowed to decorate the venue with our own style plus they also had a plethora of decorations we could borrow. Their price was very reasonable and they worked with us throughout the entire process, especially recommending vendors, which did not disappoint! So.....if you are seeking a venue, do not look any further! The Palmer Building is the place to be!

Awesome staff! Extremely helpful and friendly. Space comes with many items to help enhance the decor of the event. We could get the sound or the projector to work. We brought a slideshow on our laptop, but ended up not being able to show it to our guest. Otherwise, this venue was exactly what we needed.

Beautiful venue for a reception or party. I love the stone work hardwood floors and stage. Ive worked numerous events and its such a great backdrop with a relaxed feeling in a pretry cool historic building. I think it may have been built the the Civilian Conservation Corp but not sure. Looks like their work. Check it out.

The Haunted Tavern was so much fun. The storyteller's were great. Really drew you in and the audience participation was so much fun! If I could give more stars I definitely would!

Very nice. Restored old building. Little bit about Charlotte history even though Charlotte believes in tearing down anything over 50 years old

It's a small rental Hall for people to rent out for church services it also has a very nice small Cafe in the basement

The building was cool I guess. It will depend on the event you’re attending. Not much really happening other than whatever event is planned.

What a neat wedding venue! We recently photographed a wedding here and loved it.

Nice facility, Decent location to main roads. But, This is the second time in the last few years I have went to this place for an event and the overhead equipment did not work and they were not able to use them. Time was wasted by the renter trying to fix or get them to work. These things should have been verified by the staff earlier in the day to assure they were working properly before the event. Time and money had been spent on the presentation.
