Great service! I ordered the shrimp po boy. It was delicious. My husband had the crawfish one and my son, the crystal chicken. The food is seasoned well and I even liked the thin fries. They were good too. Next time I'll have some drinks in the basement. That appears to be where it is happening. Features: Some staff were wearing masks.
A simple place with fantastic food. I'm a huge fan of po'boys and gumbo and all New Orleans cuisine, and this was excellent. I had the crawfish po'boy, the gumbo, and the famous bread pudding, and loved every bite. Furthermore, the service was great, very enthusiastic and welcoming. They even gave our table free chips and salsa when our order didn't come out immediately. I'd go back just for how welcomed they made us feel. I suppose it's a good thing I don't live anywhere nearby, because I'd be here all the time.
They got amazing wings here!!! Service is super friendly. During the day you can enter from the front entrance. At night, the restaurant closes but the bar is open thru the back entrance. Bartender is not the quickest and will give an attitude but it’s not too bad. Worth it for the cheap drinks
Some of the best jambalaya and shrimp po’ boy I’ve ever had! Really cool ambience. The basement has an awesome bar and a live stream of New Orleans!
The food was pricey but delicious. I was looking for a good oyster po boy sandwich $13.99- 6 inch, hush puppies $4.49 and I found one! My husband got the jambalaya $10.99 and fries $2.49. He said it was the best meal he received in a while. The bourbon bread pudding $4.99 was yummy! Our meals only came with one tray and I had to eat my meal on my wrapped paper. The whole meal with tip was $54.37 see picture. The place has outside and basement seating. The basement was dimly lit and cool. Be sure to hold on to the rails when walking down the stairs. There was a big bar and lots of TVs. They had pools tables, darts and gaming machines. Eventhough it was expensive, I would definitely come back for a meal.
There a counter on 1st floor with a small dining area with a few tables or take out. Else if you want a full dine in or full bar experience there's a little entrance to the basement bar which is huge. It's got a bunch of TVs felt like a sports bar with a Tavern vibe. Our server was prompt. Ordered wings and chicken jambalaya. Hot Wings were better when compared to the fried country wings. The rice was decent. They've got quite some cocktails on their menu and variety of beers. Would come back to try the alligator bites.
No way you guys got that many stars. My lady bought this for me for lunch bc I like po boys. First problem is this thing is $18 with NO FRIES AND NO DRINK…. Inflation must be starting here first. Secondly, the catfish po boy was so so bland. It just tasted like mush combined with whatever Mayo they use. Which brings me to my third issue, it was so mushy and soggy... unfortunately my ol lady got 2 of these bad boys. Daggum
Really enjoyed. This is the type of bar you can post up at. You can buy a round for everyone at the bar and not break the bank. Some upscale places just paying for yourself is a stretch. Anyway... Good atmosphere. Food wasn’t slap yo momma good but I’ll be back.
Food and Service was great! You walk in, no frill or thrills, but when you go downstairs, that's where the fun is! Super cool Mardi Gras meets Sports Bar concept. Some of the best fried chicken wings I have ever had! Amazing selection of Po' boys and you can get double meat or two meats! But even without the extra serving of meat, my first bite until the last was totally fulfilling. If you have an inability to go up stairs, may want to start upstairs and enjoy the food. Staff was friendly and personable. Food service stops at 10pm.
The top is for take out and to go only but the basement bar was lit! Zoa was my bartender and she was so helpful and I appreciate that kind of service late night. Had the hurricane and a po boy with half catfish and half shrimp. Def a good vibe and food!
