The Polished Edge is the perfect combination of warm friendliness and expert professionalism.

Kevin and Christi Weaver established the original Polished Edge in historic downtown Liberty, Mo. location in 1997. In February of 2010, they established their second location in the downtown Kansas City Power & Light District, near Kansas City's original Garment District. Kevin has 40+ years experience with a lifelong passion for fine stones and jewelry, and the knowledge and expertise developed since he was 14 years old! Christi's skills add critical areas to complete the operation, including marketing and communications.

For the visitor, the beautifully restored building on the historic Liberty square features original brick walls and a beautifully restored tin ceiling typical of the 1800s architecture in the area. The KC Power & Light District space embodies the same look and feel of the original location with tin ceilings, hard woods and a brick wall in an urban entertainment district surrounded by lofts and the historic President Hotel. The Weavers have created a modern yet complementary environment for their outstanding selection of jewelry, including one of the largest metropolitan KC collections of loose diamonds, colored stones and engagement rings.
