I had the best experience at Bridal Connection! They got us right in and were so accommodating and welcoming. My consultant Erin was absolutely amazing! She picked dresses that fit my style perfectly and she was so helpful! I also was super impressed with the owner Lara! The staff she had working were all so friendly and Lara checked on me personally multiple times. I left the store feeling so overjoyed and with the dress of my dreams! Absolutely love Bridal Connection!

I CANNOT say enough great things about my experience here! Celina is an amazing human and definitely the person you want to help guide you through your bridal experience! She is honest, hard working and so knowledgeable! She is SUPER fast with her communication and I could not have asked for a better person! If you are looking for a place that treats you like a good friend and genuinely cares about your experience, you have found the right place. Everyone that I have come in contact with here has been super wonderful and they deserve all the recognition! I am so in love with my dress, but the people that made it happen are what makes everything even better!

This review is late from when I was in May but so well deserved. Bridal Connection is a great bridal store regardless of size, but if you are plus size and wondering if a place will have enough in your size to get the full experience, GO HERE! Celina is FANTASTIC. She is so knowledgeable and takes the time to get to know what interests you about a dress. She helped me from day 1 to order the dress of my dreams that I saw online, to getting me into the fitting room to try things out of my comfort zone and ended up liking more than I thought I did. She listened to my input and if I was sure I didn't like a feature about a dress, she put it back and didn't bring me any dresses with that feature. All of the other staff I interacted with as well were all kind and supportive and made me feel great during my appointments. My MOH even said she would come back when it's her time because of Celina. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Choosing a wedding gown is sometimes difficult; however, the staff at Bridal Connection are wonderful. My family and I had a great experience choosing the dress and the alterations process was super easy. They were so patient with me and willing to help me find just the right dress. I would definitely recommend this bridal shop!

THIS DRESS Omg this dress. When we first got engaged I had no intentions of a big fancy expensive dress. But then my mom suggested we go try a few on and get ideas so we could order something online. So we made an appointment at @bridalconnectiondsm . We got there, Selena listened to what I wanted, and she picked out about 5 or 6 dresses. This was the first one I put on. The others were also gorgeous, but there was just something about this one. But I didn't want a big, fancy, expensive dress.... so I grabbed a friend and we went to something like 8 bridal shops around the Des Moines Metro and I tried on probably 40 dresses, and I honestly hated all of them. So our last stop of the day was back at Bridal Connection. I tried it on and she instantly started crying. So with the Express permission of my husband-to-be sight unseen, I bought it. But there was a problem. It was a size 26. I was probably a size 18/20. So we did a lottttt of alterations. We were almost done with it when we canceled our first wedding so I picked it up, unfinished, and took it home to my moms house for the better part of a year and a half. Fast forward three more wedding dates, I called my new friend Celina different one from before, same shop and told her I needed to see if we could do anything about my dress.... but there was a catch. I had lost 60 more lbs. I could hear the panic in her voice a little. "Uhhh, yeah. We will absolutely try. But I just want to warn you, that is a LOT. It MIGHT NOT be possible" So after about a week of panicking, I went in and met with the seamstress and they got started on the dress again. FIVE more fitting appointments SIXTEEN more inches out of the waist Bra cups Hemming the bottom which is a task in and of itself Cinching the skirt sides Undoing and redoing the sleeves three times And a bustle later We have it. My seamstress CK worked her BUTT OFF to make sure this dress could happen for me. And Celina who is seriously a new friend I made out of the deal made sure it all could happen. This dress was an absolute dream come true. I'm not 100% how they made it happen for me but DANG THEY DID SO GOOD! Size 26 dress to an estimated size 14.

I had an amazing experience! I had Tam and she and the owner mad my entire appointment. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Found “the dress” on the first appointment. Will be bringing my bridesmaids and groomsmen back for all of their wedding needs as well. 10/10 recommend.

Everyone there was so friendly and helpful! The stylist was with me through the entire process and was so helpful and knowledgeable. She was able to adjust the selection of the dresses as we went based on my reactions to each dress. I loved my experience!

They say to order 2 or 3x your size but other weddings I have been in and gone to other bridal shops don't do that. All of our bridesmaid dresses had to be taken in tremendously. One of the bridesmaid actually called back and asked them to size down her dress because she wasn't comfortable ordering her dress in the size they chose.. Thankfully, we went to a local lady we knew to do it so it didn't cost an arm and a leg. My advice is if you are choosing Bridal Connection for wedding shopping, do not size up 2x your size and trust your gut on your size.

Bridal connections in Ankeny, IA was the perfect store to find a prom dress. They were very helpful and nice to work with and had great prices.

I went to a bridal show back last September by myself as my fiancé didn't want to go with me. Lol. I was walking around like a dork and the owner Lara caught my eye. Asked if I had my dress yet and I didn't. She set up my appointment a week from that day. My mom, oldest son and I met with Tammy who was absolutely amazing!! My mom and I picked out 4 dresses and I thought I had the winner until we picked the most random one that I would have never thought about. We all fell in love and I mean all of us, Tammy and Lara included. I have since went back to try it on and just had my final alteration appointment with Lara. She was amazing. I felt so great in my dress and knowing we have to make minimal changes. Also just her great energy with everything!! Thank you everyone for all your help! I can't wait til October for my wedding and Berni I still think you could do the tweeking on my arms! ;- lol Kristina D
