The Red Balloon Early Childhood Learning Center

Our daughter loves red balloon. The fact that every morning when we tell her it's school time then she happily climbs on her stroller to get herself ready is the best example to show how good Red Balloon is. On the management side, things are run very professionally. The teachers and director are nice and patient, but at the same time very experienced with kids.

We feel very blessed to have been a Red Balloon scholarship family. The preschool is a treasure in Upper Manhattan and our 3 sons were nurtured with exceeding love and care. The entire staff is very supportive and always provided routine updates on growth, progress and development. The team is warm, loving, and patient, providing the kids with a safe, social, fun, progressive educational environment. There is the ideal mix and balance of discipline, structure, teaching and learning. 8am to 6pm hrs of operation are a godsend for working parents and caregivers. The community is a diverse family and really a mini United Nations with kids with roots from over 50 countries.

My families experience at the Red Balloon has been amazing. For a small school, it is the most diverse i have seen and my kids loved going there everyday. My older kids have moved on after graduating to another excellent school but my last son just started. The Red Balloon has been a wonderful part of my life and i invite people to find out for themselves.

I have been teaching at Dalton and Riverdale Country School for over 20 years. I have a good amount of experience seeing what works and what doesn't work in schools. I was thrilled with my family's experience at The Red Balloon. I am a huge advocate of play based learning and this school is true to their mission. The learning happens. More importantly, the students are happy. I cannot begin to thank the faculty and staff for all the love, generosity they provided to my entire family.

all i know is that the kids get in the way when i try to play soccer in the courtyard, but they do look happy, so ig its a good daycare.

Both my daughters went to the Red Balloon and loved it; they did so well there and have gone on to excel; highly recommended.
